Nemone That doesn't sound to bad. Whenever I get sick it's always really bad flu or some gastrointestinal thing. Of course, in the two months I haven't been working or really doing anything stressful I have enjoyed the best health of my life, even with being pregnant, though it did make my stomach a little upset for a bit. ^-^ Hey, you're a mommy, you should look into joining the GPG. The Gaian Parent's Guild. Its a place for people with kids or who support people with kids (I'm currently a supporter). Its really great, very popular and full of good advice for all ages. heart

He went to an ANIME convention and came home with something. Its so wierd. He gets things that should be DEAD by now. XD Poor guy. I can't wait to travel to the middle east but it is going to suck if I get something. Oh, a funny story about Iraq.... There are a couple of civilians that I used to work with who went over there to work and they met up when my friend Steph was about to leave and this guy R.J. was there for like his first day. I guess they ate at a mcdonalds or something and R.J. got this huge salad with like fresh veggies and stuff and he made fun of Steph for eating the fat-fried crap. She told him that the veggies and stuff in iraq weren't good to eat and he, obviously, scoffed. She left iraq and came home. He stayed. He called her like the next day or the day after. Apparently he got like WAAYYY sick. I think it's ironic. Fresh veggies = fecal contamination and probably e. coli, deep fried foods = safe. I feel bad for the americans working over there when it comes to food.

razz i could probably eat 3 day old meat and be relitively fine... i actually did that once... (had the runs for a few days, but nothing more) razz
i LIKE being as fit as a fiddle...oh yeah...did i meantion my ENTIRE medical history is maybe 10 pages? just saying i was born and had shots, and a few pages on my knee? razz i think it's the funniest thing in the world...i don't brush my teeth, i sure the hell don't eat healthy foods (not like ALL healthy foods...just mixed in with my normal diet of whatever i find int he frige)
that's kinda why i'm interested in herbial stuff....because the fact that i can take so little care of my body in the ways that modern medicine says, yet i'm more healthy than all but a few people i know. ^___^ *brag brag rub rub*

I guess you'd have to wash your fresh foods super well, if you really wanted to eat them. *shakes her head* That's insane. I have a friend who came home a few months ago from over there, I was so grateful when he got home. All this talk about fresh fruits and veggies has given me a kiwi craving. *heads for the kitchen to cut up a kiwi* ^-^ Back in a few! Ps: Zero: whee Just wait. Wait until your metabolism changes and you discover that you're in trouble. whee Trust me, you'll be in for it then... twisted

Yummy, I like chinese food too but the take-out places never do it exactly the way I like it. They don't steam the broccoli long enough (my fav is beef w/ broccoli) and the meat isn't cut up small enough so it's hard to chew. It drives me crazy because sometimes they get it sooo close. By the way Zero, you have the same sort of health as my husband. He's a lucky b*****d too.

Hehehe! I can make my own, I looove broccoli and chicken with brown or white sauce. I'm not a fan of garlic though, so I have to keep asking them to leave it out, and they never do. I love snow peas, too, and water chestnuts and mushrooms... ... ... I bet I could make stirfry for dinner... *peers towards her freezer* Oooh.
My husband can eat anything and not gain an ounce, but certain foods... shall we say... interfere with his digestive relief systems. XD

redface Its one of the only ways I can stand my veggies. Either stir-fried or raw- everything else makes me gag. I'm one of those horrible picky eaters that drives everyone nuts by picking out every last onion and piece of celery from anything I eat. On the other hand, picky means that I know exactly what I'm eating and where it's been- I'm the same way about my meat. It must be a certain grade only from free-range animals with no growth hormones, and it must be kosher. (Not for the religious aspect, but for the "Jews don't eat the nasty bits of animals" aspect.)
