I first heard of the La Corda D'Oro through the manga. From there I watched the anime and read up to volume 4 in the manga. I have heard of the games.
I hope that both the anime and games come out in english, because I'm so addicted to this anime/manga.

Do you live in japan? I wish I did but no, I live in Oregon and we have a bookstore in beaverton called kinokuniya bookstore and thats where I get my imported manga and as for the game I bought that off of ebay.

I love the characters Len and kahoko cuz since i play violin..I can relate to them both.
Yea I heard of the games and anime. But I actually discovered the manga by accident. I was at my local bookstore picking up kh mangas and dn when I came across the la corda doro manga. So I actually started reading it and i actually liked it. Because I didn't know they had created a anime that I could relate to. So instead of buying the other mangas for what I was going for I bought la corda instead and every so often I got back and get the new volumes. I just bought volume 4 yesterday and I got 2,3, and 5 for my b-day. I'm mcurrently saving money to buy 6 and 7 and I'm also in the process of thinking about cosplaying as kahoko for the contest outfits and not the school uniform because ive tried looking everywhere for the uniforms and you can't find any website that's selling them. I also got my bf into the anime and it's funny cuz he loves Len cuz there personalities are the same. So im trying to teach him how to play so when we go to a con we can actually cosplay together from the anime..but I know teaching him...that's gonna be difficult....

I found the PC game online. They had it on Amazon, but the seller wouldn't ship to the US. THEN I found in a forum much like this one, a place where someone had uploaded the game in pieces to be downloaded thru a torrent. After about a week of trying to figure out how to make it work I finally got the game to run on my laptop and palyed thru the game. It's a fun little thing but it's all in Japanese so it's a little difficult...In fact I got almost to the end of the game before some of the finer points/rules/parts of the game really made sense to me-so I started over and beat it!
If anyone is interested I can tell you where to get the files and how to fix them ^.^ Just PM me!

I would love to play the game! I love the manga b/c I love to read and look at the art but I also love the anime b/c I get to hear the pieces! It made me love classical music all over again and I now use it whenever I am drawing!

I hope they dub the show so we can get the game. Yes I'm worried that it might not get some good actors for some charaters...mostly I'm worried about how Kazuki would sound in English... crying However if we get the game, we can actually understand it then! xd Plus if the anime does get dubbed, you always switch teh audio to japanese if you don't like in dubbed.

I forget exactly how i came about the series... I think my friend mentioned the manga involving classical music, which i immediately jumped at (i am such a band nerd! xd ) My intro to the anime followed closely since, let's face it, you can't do much with music in a manga, there's no sound. stare
Umm, I collect the characer song albums now, and if I ever learn Japanese, I am so getting the games! Speaking of which, Corda 2 f came out not long ago!
