Mike was bewildered. He had never heard the song that Neffis was singing before so he asked, somewhat laughingly, "What are you singing?" It sounded very old, like Pre-New Earth old, but Mike was sure that he had never heard the song before... but for some reason it seemed to be nostalgic, taking him back to when his mother had been alive.

He shook his head, such things were no longer important, his mother had returned to Source and he was still alive and on a mission. These kinds of thoughts would only hinder his abilities to focus on the task at hand. But he still wanted the answer from Neffis and waited patiently for his answer.

Chase sat in the cockpit thinking about the things that had been happening lately. He was rapidly becoming more important around the HQ. He was in intensive training to help him achieve focus and he was making huge leaps in his techniques, and now he was on a mission. He could almost not control his glee at being recognized after all this time.

A smirk formed on Eli's face at the song, since he was also a pretty big fan of Pre-Earth music, but he typically liked things a bit more...exciting? Yeah, exciting was possibly a good word...He thought that the genre was called rock, but he had trouble remembering that kind of thing, but he was enjoying the impromtu karaoke. Hmmm...Maybe we could use a karaoke machine at the base...It'd probably be real fun... Eli pondered for a moment as they approched the crash site.

Chase saw the drop point on the Nav-Comp and hit the intercom to say, "We're coming up on the drop point. I'm going to come in low and stop to let you guys off, then I'll find a place to land this crate and then join you."

Chase brought the ship in low just like he said and then came to a hover about 10 feet off the ground.

Mike looked up as he heard Chase say that they were approaching the drop site. He waited for the ship to come to a halt and then he moved to the exit. He punched the button to open the hatch and jumped out of the ship. He rolled when he hit the ground and then switched on the wrist comm and said to Chase, "Chase. stay at a high altitude to avoid any more 'objects' that might hurt the ship."

Mike didn't wait for Chase to answer and he switched off the wrist comm and turned it onto silent. He didn't know if Chase would argue with him, but he wasn't letting an unregistered trainee go out and do a dangerous mission. Mike waited for the rest of the Agents to exit the ship.

Hearing the call that they were nearing the drop off point Neffis quickly took a final check to make sure all of his gear was present then after finishing his quick tune he took a leap from the ship and landed safely of the ground nodding to his comrades he gave them the signal that he was ready for combat.

When Mike had adjusted his gear, he heard Gabriel speak and answered, "We are only a few hundred yards from the crash site. We are going to make our way there as quickly as possible and then begin looking for the navigation computer and flight log computer.

"After we find it we should try to figure out what we can from the debris and, should anyone come snooping around, try to get any information out of them that we can."

Mike paused in his train of thought as a smile crept up on his face. "I think the use of excessive force may be in order to get the information guys, so feel free to use any means necessary to get the info. If that's all there is, let's move out."

Mike waited for a few seconds for any questions to be asked before he would move on.

][OK. As I said already this is going to be done kinda blind, so we're going at it D&D style. "I look at the ____, what do I see?" style, I'm pretty sure that most of the people here are familiar with this kind of system so we shouldn't confuse anyone too much.

I'll try to stay on top of it as much as possible, but my work schedule is in conflict with a lot of the free time that you guys told me about, so I'll do the best I can, but bear with me. For the sake of the game I'll post the surroundings right after I'm done with this so we know what it looks like around here and so we can all understand what it's like (I noticed last time that I neglected to describe the area and there was a bit of confusion).

"Ready when you are," Eli thought to the others as he waited to head off to the crash site.

][Neffis would feel the wildlife in the area, though there are no Daemons within his perception.][

Mike upon hearing Neffis, realized that there was no need to use the silent gear, he was used to using them now and it was almost second nature to use it when on a mission, but there wasn't anything to really worry about right now... he thought and he felt the urge to shudder at his own arrogance, but he repressed the need. He nodded to Neffis when he said he'd sweep the area for anything other than them around.

Mike looked at the others and said, "OK. This is to find out what happened to Mathias, let's do this." He began walking in the direction of the crash and was sure that the others would follow shortly.

Gabriel walked along side neffis."Hehe...I can hear it now..todays mission was unsuccesful when the enire team got wiped out by an army of squrrils....he." gabreil said to neffis...he kept his yes glued to his surroundings searching for anything out of place in the woods on there way to the crash site.
