I think the Anime is definitely more funny, but that might be because I watched it before reading it sad I read the first two volumes.
The mangaka of Ouran doesn't really know how to give her characters depth. I mean, you can tell she tries, but some of them just don't seem... well developed? They have a lot of nice quirks though XD Also, it mocks a lot of things that I am, so I really enjoy it.

SO I JUST FINISHED THE FIRST THREE EPISODES OF THE NEW HIGURASHI SEASON.
And I have to say. Very impressed.
A lot of people think it's messed up, and no good, but Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni is a very well-thought out game/manga/anime/harem-non-harem.
I think people don't like because
A) Horror/the genre isn't their thing.
B) It messes with their mind and a lot of people hate that.
The second season is improving on already good character designs, plus, SUDDENLY, BUDGET! Beautiful, updated animation. More storyline, humor is funnier.
I was wondering what ya'll felt about it. I know one of my close friends doesn't like it and thinks it's messed up, but I also know she doesn't like horror. (There's a difference between not liking something and something being badly made. Many people hate Advent Children (read: BOYS) but it wasn't badly made. [/rant])
So.. .sicne this thread was genericly titled and ya'll moved from Peach Girl to Ouran <3, I was just wondering. ^^; Nippah! ~ 水銀燈 ~

You changed your old sig from okita. gonk He was liek, awesome, no?! Though alot of the other characters are also hilarious >w<
@perfect tea: I never did really enjoy the higurashi series... I watched around 5 eps, but it weirded me out and I eventually dropped it because I only had time to watch a few series.
Oh, oh, the animation for advent children was totally awesome, and the sound tracks were great. The thing that let the movie down was the lack of storyline though. The direction of the movie seemed a little vague, but I enjoyed watching it regardless.
Ho-ho. I've become a manga addict as of late. Reading many volumes of eye-shield, tsubasa chronicles, xxxholic, koukou debut and nodame cantabile. @___@ Manga shall be the cause of my downfall. *dramatic music*

I love Okita but the banner is worse than this one sad
OMG he is such a sadist heart
Besides,I love Hibari and Dino too.They're from Katekyo Hitman Reborn! and I think that these banners are much better than the Okita one.
