Oh, and there will also be places to exchange rings for others (at shops, basically), and you can also give rings/loot to other party members at moonfields.
(And I've yet to decide whether or not there should be bonuses for wearing multiples of the same ring).

Is it going to be more detailed? (As in, if you look at the battle screen you just walk around and use rings. Will it be more detailed than that?)

Yes and yes.
Detail-wise, I'll be describing pretty much everything in excruciating detail (that cut on your leg? You don't wanna know how I'll make it out to look like blaugh ), including scenery and such. Hell, Tomo could tell you I do a great job at describing things, couldn't she wink ?
