My dad's in the army. He'll be moving nearby soon. Right now he's in germany and I have a half-brother I haven't even seen yet. I'll get to see him round my b-day =^.^=

my dad is in the corps of engineers. he was sent to afganastan. I was afraid.his mess hall was bombed. we thought he was dead. we're gonig to be sent to italy somtime soon.

My ex-boyfriend--though current friend--is nearing the end of his deployment, two more months and his unit will be heading back to where they were stationed last out in Germany.
I nearly cried when he came back on R&R; because he fell asleep on the phone and started asking where his rifle was, when he had guard duty, etc. In his own words, the fireworks this year were "an interesting experience."

No one has posted here in a while I thought I would... My husband is in the that Army. He work on the computers that are on the humvees and planes and what not. He his stationed in Fort.Bragg. I am so proud to be an Army Wife!!

My dad is a retired army/marine soldier,but since he was so valuable in the E.O.D bomb disposal and being a mechanic he is stationed in Egypt to work on vehicles,me and my brothers went there thi summer,the first time I saw him in 6 years,and now my twin brother is over there with him,I miss my twin crying

My hubby just finished basic, it was great seeing him graduate. I got to go back to my roots as well. It was just awesome to see him again. Right now he's in AIT in Alabama and might get a 4 day pass in September. It'd be great if he's able to come, that way he can see all his family and eat real food. XD
I miss him and I just saw him 2 weeks ago.

My uncle was deployed Tuesday from Fort Campbell. He'll be in Afghanistan for a year. It's kind of hard, because I just met him last November. He already has a purple heart, so I hope he just comes back safe. : )

Hi all...My boyfriend and soon to be husband is in BCT at FORT JACKSON in SC right now...he will be graduating in April 2nd...he is doing awesome there and just passed his BRM shooting test. I am sooo damn proud of him. It was sooo hard in the beginning when he first left, I didn't think I would make it through the first week without him, being an army girlfriend is so hard, but I manage now...I miss him so much..and I know I still have a long way to go before its over...I love you Pvt. My fiancé leaves for Basic in a week, can anyone tell me if i'll be able to write him? he forgot to ask...and when he finally did a few days ago he said they gave him the run around and confused him...I just couldn't possibly make it through this without talking to him somehow through this....we've been through so much already this year...
