I know of all those shows. Pinky and the Brain and Goodfeathers were my favorite Animaniacs. Another show I try to catch from the olden days is The Pink Panther. Duck Dodgers is another show I watch whenever I can.

Fraggle rock? Nope! It doesn't even sound familiar. Is it a Europe only thing?

I remember most of the things mentioned here. My favorites are "Thundercats", "He-man" & "TMNT"!
I liked that a lot when I was a kid. 3nodding

Thank you Mel for such a nice link to Fraggle Rock. I think I knew it with another name so that's why I didn't recognize it. Can't remember the name it had in Spanish though but I'm pretty sure it was not the same as it was in English. 3nodding

Here in Guatemala, we have this cable channel available called "boomerang"; which broadcasts a lot of old shows but i haven't seen many of the ones I liked. It makes me wonder if they show them at a certain time when I don't watch TV. rolleyes

I got the She-Ra box set for X-mas last year. I loved it so much I made a Blood Elf Paladin on World of Warcraft named Sherah.

I remember watching it as a kid and being happy that there was a female He-man. There were frustratingly little bad-a** females on T.V. at the time. April O'Neil was a wimp for the most part, Jean Grey was dreadful until she became the Phoenix, and there's what? One female transformer? Who turns into a pink car? Lame. Plus, most of the shows that were geared toward little girls we're all about ponies and sparkly pink things. Bleh.

She-ra, while not widely popular, actually had a good female lead. She never needed a whole lot of rescuing and she carried a badass sword. I think what killed the show somewhat was the supporting characters. The clumsy witch was pretty lame. Then there was the archer guy, Bow, who was always having what sounded suspiciously like love-spats with the an owl named Kowl.

The villian Hordak was pretty funny, he was friend of Skeletor's, but they had a falling out, so now they hate each other. His right-hand man was a woman who was very sinister, and so they continued to have good female lead characters.

Of course! I used watch those when I was younger. Doesn't boomerang still play them?
