I definitely think that she is under appreciated! Ok, so that may be because she is my favorite character in the series, but honestly, she has a very important role. 3nodding

Her role in the manga is actually much more important than her anime role. In the manga she seems to be the glue that sticks a lot of different things together throughout the whole story. Just to name a few important details: she is the reason why the senshi exist in the present, she gives sailor moon new powers, she gave both the inner and outer senshi their duties, she's the one who sealed away both Beryl and Nehelenia in the past. I mean, that is a lot of important things for a minor character to do that really impacted the story!

Little shameless self-promotion, but I actually run the only active Queen Serenity shrine online at this time, Simply Serenity. Feel free to visit and pay tribute to the queen.

Another reason that I like the manga a lot more. Queen Serenity is a beautiful character, and has always been one that I really liked...I wish she could've had more of a story behind her though, but I guess thats where imagination and fanfiction comes in :3
