Why not try to combine all the ideas in to one gaint thingy.....A catgirl Ronin with cowgirl traits......It would really counter and bewhilder(sp?) the Lincoln people...

...i was thinking more of a catgirl ronin with a wheat or corn print yukata. it elegantly incoperates a nebraska theme without overpowering.

really the entire theme hasnt been decided yet so its probably going to get the heck revisioned out of it. plus this is one of many ideas that im currently fleshing out. ive got 4 more sketches waiting to be scanned and posted. i think the cow suit is the most adorable.

i havent seen your art so i can neither comment nor critique. general rule of thumb, dont belittle your art. even if you dont like it, doesnt mean that other might not. *sigh* you sound just like my apprentice.

the more you practice drawing them, the more comfortable youll be. its always a little awkward to draw something yer not familiar with. i would recommend taking some notebook paper and just drawing hands and feet. references are very helpful so go forth and find a stock artist!
