He laughed as she fel towards him, her dress flowing like the wind as she fell. He caught her seconds later, cradling her in his arms to dampen the effects of the impact. "There, that wasn't so bad was it?" He gave her a nother smile, trying to suppress the urge to laugh yet again. "And what was that about killing me in the afterlife?" He said, and burst out laughing in spite of his best efforts. A few moments later, he managed to regain his composure, but couldn't keep the smile off his face. "Forgive me, I didn't mean any offence." He placed her on her feet and offered her his arm, while gesturing to the surrounding moon-lit scape."Shall we?"

She unwrinkled her dress and took his arm, "Nothing, I just thought you would let me break my neck. I would have killed you even if death was in me," she giggled. Then suddenly, a large swelling of uneasiness wept over her. She was no longer smiling, nor was she clinging her hand on his arm tightly as she did just a while earlier. "Let us stroll.." she said faintly, unable to surpress her sudden change of mood.

He walked beside her, puzzled by her inexplicable mood swing. "Is something the matter?" he asked quietly, almost a whisper."You know you can tell me if there is."

She looked up at him, a bit surprised that he noticed too quickly of her change of mood. "Oh.. nothing at all..." she smiled. "I guess I'm a little tired from all of the evening's..party," she said truthfully, while she tried to find what was bothering her. "I am a stranger to you as you are to me, yet you show me a sign of your concern about me. Why do you do that so?" she asked in a polite tone.

He looked into her eyes, smiling warmly. " It is true, that we are but strangers to each other. But I concider you to be a close and trusted friend. I care deeply for my friends, as I now care for you." He replied, looking up at the moon as he did. "It's my way of saying thank you."

"Actions speak louder than words," she said looking down at the ground as she listened to him. "Hold on... Thank you? Whatever for? I have not done anything to make you thank me..." She asked, suddenly realizing she had no clue of what the conversation was about, other than what he had so far explained.
[I swear no one comes her anymore... ]

He smiled again, turnding towards her as he did. " Your a rare breed, my friend. You looked beyond my apperance, to see what lies within. Hardly anyone can be bothered to do anything remotely close to that. You chose to trust me, a total stranger, knowing full well that anything could go wrong. For that, I thank you." He offered a low, outswept bow. When he chose to rise, his smile had grown.
[God, your right...]

She smiled back at him, it was nice seeing his comfort that way. "Actually, though strangers, you know in an instant of whom you could trust and whom you can't, specially if you listen to your heart's instincts. It is the only thing that can truly protect you in this world," she explained as she placed her hand against her chest, feeling her heart speak to her that there was nothing to worry about. "Not many understand their hearts because they're overly consumed by their mind, if one can penetrate them to harmonize.. I think that'll be the greatest protection of one could have..." she whispered, suddenly feeling uneasy over remembering the guilt she has. ".. But there is not a soul like that, animals only have instincts while as souls higher than of those creatures... would listen more to their surroundings than the one that really cares for them.."she said, speaking as if everything in deed was connected. "But enough of that, let's enjoy the evening," she smiled.
[Yeah.. sad.. I wish more people would come and post though. Hopefully that'll bring more events to the threads and stuff]

"Indeed, that is true. You speak like one who has gone through a terridle ordeal. Is something botherig you?" He asked gently, not wanting to provoke any undesireable results

[apologies for not keeping my word adumar dear]
She smiled a luminant, the gloss on her lips shimmering under the moon's light, "Just old tales of the past lingering," she brightened, unwanting to emite any awkward or downheartening moment. "How about you? Any tales untold or tales kept under sand?" she asked, pausing in their walk and turned to look at him properly.

He sighed. "Many, my dear, far too many." He gazed upwards at the brightness of the moon. "The one's so dark, so deep, they never go away, playing over and over like an old movie in my tortured mind."
((Tis quite alright, my dear))

"I see... " she again, lost her smile. "Don't dwell on it my dear, it's a far well evening to be spoilt," she took a step forward and looked at her surrounding, "Where were we heading? I seem to have forgotten..." she blushed, trying to look less lost than she really is.

He smiled, taking her hand lightly. "Dose it matter? Here is good enough, my Angel." He drew her in closer, wrapping his arms around her gently.

She stared at him confused. "Is everything alright?" She asked gently. Something about the moment seemed oldly familiar, yet new at the same time. She returned his embrace and pulled back. "Is there something bothering you?" Her eyes filled with worry as they looked up at him.

He smiled, feeling her slight form against him. " On the contrary. Everything's perfect." He commented, looking into her eyes. "Have no fear, everything is alright." He gently stroked her cheek, staring deeply into her eyes.
