Well, i read about 3 chapters of the first book and gaved up. I didn't feel hooked. Then i started being a E-D-IT and started editing the works putting bad language here and there. I never finished and it and i am glad.
I want to continue though because i only watched the movies and i feel so guilty.

Well I just cried my way through the last few chapters of "The Half-Blood Prince". And now I'm counting down the hours until the seventh book comes out!

Kiyama MQubed (that was kindof "hello") BUT ... so what's your favorite HP scene, person or item so far?? Ummmm...lets see, I just started book six today and by far my favorite character would have to be Ron Weasley. He grew up with far more siblings than I did, but I know how it feels to have troublemaking older siblings and having to grow up in their shadow! Also, Ron has learned sarcasm as his second language, as I have also. I see a lot of myself in Ron! And I guess that's why he's my favorite (apart from Harry of course...and Professor McGonagall) Favorite scene? I love all the Quidditch (did I spell that right? o.O) games and all the fight scenes. And I especially loved the Triwizard Tournament. So I can't really say I have a single favorite! And yeah...I think the Marauder's Map is completely awesome. Totally useful in any situation! Yes! a Marauder's map would be soo cool!

Personally I at first read them and i enjoyed it but then when the fifth came out I was put off. It just became emotional blackmail in the end. There are a lot better fantasy series out there. For example Elric of Melnibone, the wheel of time series and of course Lord of the Rings!

did anyone hear about a contest where you had to guess the ending of Deathly Hollows? My mailman mentioned it to me ... guess I'm not a big enough fan to know all the "special" stuff.
For some reason, I've bee putting off reading my new book!? But I did go see the Order of the Phoenix movie last night. I think it was one of the best of the movies so far (love Luna!!)

So here's the story . . . It was 11:30 pm. I had missed my train at Gran Central Station. The next one wasn't coming for like 30+ minutes. I went to get a magazine but couldn't find any that caught my interest. Then something caguht my eye. Hudson News, the magazine store, had Harry Potter books for sale. Now, I never got into the series b/c the books always looked too big to carry on the subway. God knows I carry enough stuff already. But they had paperback versions that didn't look so bulky and I bought the first one.
I finished reading it the next day.
I wasn't impressed. It wasn't a horrible book, but I don't see what all the hype is about.
