Aaron's company went straight through. They ran through the gun fire only losing two men. "Everoyne fire at anything and everything!" Aaorn yelled as he fired his rifle at a R.P.G. carrying skinnie. The R.P.G. went off and was flying towards Aaron. It hit the ground behind him and he flew in the air. Aaron's company ran past him and got behind cover. Aaron coughed and yelled for all his men to hold hte positio nand wait for the tanks to come from behind. Aaron was laying down on his back and started to get up. Two bullets went through Aaron's body and he fell back down to the ground. A couple of Aaron's troops saw what happend and started to run to him. As soon as they left their cover they had plenty of rounds fired into them that killed all three of the men trying to save Aaron. Aaron layed down on teh groudn and yelled. "Medic!" A couple of tanks rolled on both sides and kept rolling past him.

Kira was shocked when she watched the news in her little run down apartment that night. The marines had been ambushed and in trouble.
'I wish i could join...' Kira thouhgt to herself, remembering the painful memory of being rejected and denied entrance to the Navy. She didnt want to try that with the Marines. But she knew that she wasnt meant to be a cop in a florida town with a crime rate of 0.

The tanks rolled past and they spread out to take out the remaining skinnies. All the gunfire had ceased and a squad from Aaron's company had came to see if he was still alive. They loaded him ont oa humvee and it took him to an Airfield where the U.S. troops had taken over. Aaron was put into a chopper. The chopper flew to Panama City in FLorida. The chopper touched down and Aaron was rushed into the OR.

Finally, one day sitting around the station, Kira got a call. Turns out one of the Marines from the battle in Panama had been flown to her sleepy little town and was in thier hospital. His Supiriors had requested assistance, and she was glad to give it. Jumping into her crusier, she drove down to the hospital as fast as she could.
'Finally....' Kira thought to herself. 'This sleepy little town gets a wake up call, and from The Marines too....'

The doctors were running around trying to figure out how to deal wiht Aaron's wounds. They've never seen wounds so bad like his. Aaron had two bullet wounds. Luckily for Aaron the bullets didn't hit a vital organ and went straight through. The doctors had stopped the blleding and Aaron was awake during this whole thing. He saw a cop enter the OR. "What's...a...cop do...ing....in...here?" Aaron asked slowly.

Walks over to the fallen officer, and Kira had been told his name is Aaron.
"Aaron, my name is Kira and I am an officer for this city. I have been assigned to protect you with my life because we suspect that that ambush you ran into was no regular ambush of defence."
Kira takes off her hat, revealing her incredibly short shaggy black hair, and, seeing the surprise in his eyes, she knew that he had thought she was a boy.
'Classic...' Kira thought, sitting down to make the safety on her pistol was on.

"Sir, waht do you mean that it wasn't a regular ambush? I mean how can any regular civilian could get firepower like that. I mean they had anti-tank mortars. Those Abrams cant' be taken out from teh top, they can only be destroyed from underneath it." Aaron said gasping for breath.

"I wouldnt know...but ive been thinking....maybe this wasnt just any ambush. Maybe someone...a rival country...or even an ally country...is helping them. If lots of things happen like this more....i am going to go with my theory. Someone wants our country hurt...but...if YOU yourself are attacked again....well...I'd have to say someone wants you dead."

"I've been wounded before," Aaron said. "Somalia, Bahgdad, Iraq, Afganistan, and North Korea." Aaron remember all of the wars he was in. "I've been wounded in all of them." The doctor was finished stiching up his wounds. "Well you're goign to be put into a recovery room." the surgeon said. "Like hell I am." Aaron said as he sat up. He groaned for a moment and layed back down.
((the north korea isn't the Korean War, it's a war based on teh game 'Mercenaries'))

Looking down, Kira snapped up her phone, and seeing the message, she smiled.
"That was my boss. The sheriff. He has given me direct orders: I am to gaurd you with my life...then once you have physically healed, help you mentally heal. Give you a tour and bullshit like that. Anyway, its really my honor to be doing this for you, Sir. But I dont understand why i have to 'gaurd you with my life'...he didnt say...this is pretty suspicious if you ask me."
