Well... at first i would have said either. But now it's definitely Takanari 3nodding
Since it's technically Takanari that she fell in love with first and they've been together more and thus had more bonding time since Shizumasa has an illness.
But whoever Haine choses is fine :hearT:

Takanari of course! She's loved Taka since the begining. The only thing she loves about Shizumasa is his name because she always associated Taka with it! heart Takanari + Haine 4ever! heart

Retsumi That's not hard. Takanari-sama is waay better than Shizumasa-san any day! blaugh Pretty cheap how Shizumasa-san took credit for his brother's own work. And though he may like Haine, he doesn't treat others very nicely~ *tut tut* Takanari and Haine are better for each other 3nodding Yes...But in a way...and there will be spoilers here...so read on if you dare...BUT I WARNED YOU!....That, the day that Shizumasa took her off the streets and to his home was the real him. Sure, she fell in love with Takanari's book....but Shizumasa contributed to that love by telling her that one day he will be back for her, and even will fall in love with her as well. This, of course, helped her turn over a new leaf-quit her Yankee life, and enter the Emperor's school....But then again, she saw Takanri in the hanging garden...which purely describes his good, gentle soul-->Thus being the true person wjo wrote the book.....aw! This is a good debate...but all good things must end at a certain point. So please, If you have any ideas to contribute to this discussion....I think we may be able to take this post somewhere...

*sigh* It really is so complex, isn't it? But I'm fairly certain that Haine is going to choose Takanari because Spoilers: (In Chapter 30 and 31 when Haine realizes she loves Takanari too, Taka-kun says that it "can't be helped" because until recently Takanari and Shizumasa were the same person in her mind. Also at least once before she finds out the truth she thinks that she's falling even more in love with Shizumasa...who is at the time Taka-kun.
So...I think in the end when everything comes out, Haine will choose Taka-kun. I'd be very unhappy if she didn't because it wouldn't make sense. Since Arina Tanemura spends the most time advancing the relationship between Haine and Taka-kun (and since they've gotten all the best storylines, scenes, and lines together) they'll probably be the ones to work out.)

Wow...very good point. And you're right...if she doesn't choose taka it would be so weird...there would be no "happy ending" like with arina's other peices...kinda tragic...it must be hard for arina-san to choose between the two...because in her extras she writes about how she falls in love with her own characters...poor arina.

Eh? When was Taka-kun a jerk? You mean in the very beginning when Haine kept confessing her love for Shizumasa to him and he decided to ignore her and then make her hate Shizumasa? Everyone involved got over that a long time ago...
Shizumasa is the real jerk. He locks up his brother and treats him like he isn't even a person. Takanari used to be mean because he hated everyone, but growing up the way he did, who wouldn't be like that? Besides, Taka-kun is better now so Takanari and Haine forever!

Fuyu Maiden Takanari is definitely better for Haine. Both of them seem to love her a lot, but Shizumasa is only nice to Haine and he's fake nice to everyone else. He's mean to his brother. And Haine should be with someone who genuinely cares about other people.
Though...I do feel sorry for Shizumasa because of his illness. But I just can't feel like he belongs with Haine because he took credit for something his brother wrote.
So, I totally support Taka-kun! Haine and Taka-kun look so cute together too! i completely agree with you.i think taka is best.

Sorry to say...but I think Shizumasa. Haine fell in love with him first. Remember that day when he picked her up when she was lonely on the street. He saved her.
Takanari on the other hand, accidentally feel in love with Haine.
Shizumasa and Haine are going to be married.
Shizumasa is dieing.
Won't Takanari let him at least stay with the woman he love for now?
