Selina pulled back with a laugh, watching the two for a moment before turning her head to stare around the interior of the house. No, wait... it wasn't a house. A resturaunt. That's what it was called, she was pretty sure. She couldn't go about asking things like that. Then he'd have no doubt about her strangeness. She really kept thinking he probably already knew, but she wasn't going to bring it up if he didn't. She placed her elbow on the table and propped her head up in her hand, waiting patiently for whatever was supposed to happen next. How did the process of ordering food go? They had to tell someone, right? She'd told Eric but.. she didn't think that was entirely correct. For now she'd just wait and see what happened. She surfaced from her thoughts at Hiro's question and lunge, blinking when Eric quickly stopped him. At the nickname she looked kind of confused, but was soon smiling again. "It's ok!" She was slightly surprised to see she didn't mind the nickname all that much. And she wasn't at all sure why he was bowing his head like that, almost as if he were ashamed. "You know..." she began softly, but trailed off when he stood and excused himself. She watched him go, then cast Hiro a puzzled glance.

Matt just scoffed at her comment, knowing he could say the same to her and that she knew this as well, so it wasn't even worth stating. But he grew serious when she started to tell him so quickly. He'd expected more of a delay. And when he saw her fidgeting, his expression softened lightly. But he didn't stop her. He wanted to hear. She paused before getting to the part he really wanted to know about, but he didn't press it. Instead he smiled and nodded his head. "Do you want to continue or let me begin my story?" he asked. It was hard, he knew, to talk about this sort of thing. It was probably harder for her, but he wasn't sure why he got that feeling.

"No problem miss mint." He said politely as he took a seat with them. He looked over at sei To answer his question about his name."Name's kyochi it's great to meet both you." He said nicely. He looked over to the side and saw that the waiter that had been in the little accident was cleaning off the mess he got on his shirt. He gave a small laugh as he was having trouble trying to get off a stain he got from falling onto the floor. Hi head then turned to mint as she asked him and sei who they loved. He was a bit off at the moment but when he goth her card everything was then clear to him. It turned out mint was a matchmaker."That's why you said if we were looking for somebody to love." He said as he took the card and slipped it into the pocket on his over shirt."Well I'm not really sure, I'm just 15 and i never really thought of it." He told he responded to her."Actually it never really crossed my mind." He said with a nervous laugh thinking it might be strange for someone his age not thinking about loving someone.

[Of course not Fluffy D=]

Mint turned to the male, Kyochi for a moment as she looked almost stunned and confused. "Never thought about it...? That is pretty weird, are you some kind of monk?" she asked with an amused grin. Actually this school seemed to be full of people that hadn't thought much about love, they probably had more important things on their minds though, or so they thought. Mint being herself, found that love was the only thing important these days and those who didn't use it should just loose their hearts. "Well to be honest, I'm still looking for someone myself, I was stood up early this evening by a twenty year old. So for the moment I'm finding Sei's type much more enjoyable" she said with a grin. "Besides I'm only eighteen so twenty year olds are hard to understand, and they don't get the simple joy of just cuddling" she said with a frown as she messed slightly with her hair. She saw a waiter approching and waved cheerily "Hello ~ can I get a plate of chicken in a lemon sauce? And just give me some coke" she said with a soft smile as she handed him back her menu.

Hiro just smiled as he watched Eric leave the table and glanced up when a waiter approched them. "I'll have whatever noodle dish you order, my friend will have a hamburger and she'll be having shrimp scampi, and just give us all water please" Hiro said polietly as he handed the waiter back the menus. When he left he turned back to Selina and grinned "I'm honestly not sure where Eric managed to find such a pretty girl, but before he gets back I'll tell you a few things that he never talks about. Otherwise you'd never know" he said with a slight frown as he thought about how hard it was for him to find it out. "First of, Eric's actually about sixteen though he can pull of an age of about twenty. Also, he used to have a younger sister, and he used to be really into surfing and things but one day when he got into a fight with her when trying to teach her how to surf he stormed off. He came back a little bit later and couldn't find her, her body was soon found though an it turned out that she had drowned. So basically he doesn't like most things about the sea at all and keeps away from it as much as he can." he said with a slightly saddened look on his face before he gave a slight nod to her siginaling her to not say anything because Eric came back again. Eric stiffled a yawn as he turned to look at him giving a questioning glance before Hiro tried to tackle him with a hug and Eric shoved him off.

Jane slowly shook her head "No...I better finish before I start to think too much about it" she said obviously not liking to get too emotional over something. She took one last sip from her sweet tea, which tasted bitter soon again her mouth. "I was only tweleve and Ally was seven at the time, so when we got to the real world it wasn't easy. I couldn't be hired for a stable, good-paying job so I just worked as many odd jobs as I could. I had been told by various people that I should go to an orphange with my sister, but I never agreed because I knew that we would be seperated if I did. One day It was espeically rough because it was winter and people were being stingy with their present money. I was so hungry but I couldn't leave Ally alone so we huddled together for some warmth, I was afraid that I was going to end up dying right then and there when I saw Ren. He was the most beautiful man that I had ever seen, and he looked like a gentleman except for that smile that was on his face. I didn't trust him at all, but he offered me a place to stay and food if I agreed to do things for him. I agreed, but later on I found out that Ren is a demon and the promise I made is permant. So I've been living with money and able to give Ally a good life for her college, but when ever my phone rings I have to go and find him and do whatever he wants me to." she said finishing off her story as her hands clenced so tightly on the table that she had drawn blood. Her eyes widened slightly as she released them and watched the blood for a moment with a sigh. "Alright, tell me your story" she said softly.

Selina turned to stare at the waiter as Hiro placed their orders. She was kind of glad he had, because she would've been confused, and maybe done something wrong. Though, there really wasn't much to it. She watched the person leave, then turned to face Hiro as she saw him grinning at her. She smiled uncertainly at the compliment, but then saw his frown and her smile faded. She looked almost confused for a moment. She listened silently and attentively, smiling again for a second at the mention of Eric's real age. She'd had no idea... But when he came to the part about his sister, Selina's expression fell and her eyes widened. In short, she looked extremely troubled. And not only because she'd just been told that his sister had died. But, she'd died in the sea, and because of that, he hated the sea and anything to do with it. So he... hates me? she thought, her hopes crashing instantly. She began staring at the table in silence. She'd seen Hiro signal for her not to say anything, but it wasn't like she could instantly forget and act like she hadn't heard. She wasn't sure what she'd been hoping for, but it wasn't to be hated... I can't tell him.

Matt nodded and fell silent again, sitting back in his chair as he listened. If he hadn't come to this school, it probably would've been hard for him to believe. But now he was surprised by how easily he accepted the answer. But, something was troubling him. What... exactly did he make her do? He knew she'd had to fix a bike before, but she'd also gotten in a car and driven off with him. What had they gone off to do...? She'd said he was beautiful. Matt frowned to himself, then reached across the table and took her hand in his. He held it gently, then leaned forward and licked the blood off, then kissed the spot. "Alright," he grinned, smirking again. "My turn? The story isn't as interesting. I did go to an orphanage, but I wasn't with anyone. When I was seven I was adopted by a family, and suddenly found myself with two parents and a little sister. They actually accepted me pretty well, and I didn't even feel awkward about calling them mom and dad. But one day in college, a vending machine ate my money so I... blew it up." He grinned lightly, wrapping Jane's hand gently with a napkin as he spoke. "Someone saw me, and later recruited me into their group. But they were really theives. The didn't just steal wallets either. They blackmailed me, threatening my family if I didn't do what they said. But still, one night when we were breaking in, I made the explosion too big and set off the alarms. They shot me in the head and left. Later, I realized they'd been rounded up by the police, but there are still others who might try looking for me, so I'm keeping a low profile for a while..." He lowered his gaze to the table, still gently holding her hand in his. "They told my family I was dead, but they might think otherwise, since my body was never found. I tried to hide my... abilitlies from them, but I think my dad knew, so he might know I'm still alive."

Eric glanced at Selina slightly questionably she didn't seem to be in a very happy mood suddenly, and he wondered if Hiro had something to trigger that. His thoughts were distracted however when their food finally arrived a little later and he glanced down at his hambuger. "I hate hamburgers" he said simply as he turned to Hiro who looked shocked, though obviously he knew. Hiro just frowned and said "Well....I guess I'll just have to go ahead and eat it for you then." simply as he made a grab for Eric's plate and Eric just glared as he swiped back Hiro's. He turned to Selina for a moment longer, suddenly feeling nervous that she might just suddenly up and leave, which would...be...bad? He wasn't sure why he was letting himself care about why she was sad but it probably had something to do with curosity, or so he told himslef. When they were finished with the meal, Eric went ahead and paid "Well what should we do now?" he asked calmly. He turned to glance towards Hiro who was grinning, about to burst from his idea "KAROKE." he said loudly as he nodded and tugged on Hiro's jacket childishly. Hiro snatched himself back and nodded his head "Whatever. But I'm not singing. Is that alright with you Selina?" he asked as he stood up and streatched slightly. Something was wrong with her for sure, she seemed troubled, but he wasn't sure if he had the right to ask.

Jane watched him for a moment, surprised when he took her hand and almost feeling a blush rise to her cheeks when he licked off the blood and kissed her. If she ever did blush it seemed that it would now only belong to Matt, she often hated people so much that she'd never get embarrased. Perhaps it was the fact that she was so deeply into hating him that she ended up liking him. She started to listen to his story intently somehow not surprised that he was in an orphange, he just seemed too tough. She felt a smirk tugging at her lips when she heard that he blew up a vending machine, she could fully picture Matt doing this in her head. She glanced down when he wrapped her hand in a napkin and tried to stop herself from gushing at how kind that was, instead settling on a sort of smile-frown. She had figured that he had gotten into a life of stealing and didn't find it all that troubling or bad. She wasn't the type to be raised on 'good morals' and didn't mind if he had sticky fingers honestly. The thing that troubled her was that people had tried to kill him and he left his hometown, and he couldn't die. "So you...can't die? Well...that's not fair for your family to not know about your situation" she said softly. Obviously Jane relied heavily on family matters, mostly just with who was improtant, she could tell that his family was to him though by how he looked when he talked about them. She decided not to press it for the current moment though since he was talking a lot as it was. "Hey Matt, you know...your annoying, but your all-around better than Ren." she replied softly as she glanced up at him with a small grin. She reached across the table with her free hand and grabbed a pack of cigarettes from his pocket, tugging it open with a grin. "A girl should get to steal her guy's cigarettes" she said simply as she put one in her mouth and soon lit it up with her own lighter. She kept silent for a moment as she took a long drag and thought They taste...nice she realized not able to put into words as she closed her eyes for a minute.

Selina continued staring quietly at the table, not really noticing that the others might see it as strange. She'd been so cheerful until now. But she was just staring, looking almost dazed. Maybe she should just go home. But no, she still had over two more days and she didn't want to spend them alone. She sighed, but looked up when their food arrived. She smiled lightly as they fought over their food, and then looked down at her own. She saw that with what they'd called a hamburger, they didn't use a fork, but hers looked like it wasn't exactly finger food. Hesitantly, she picked up the fork and began prodding it lightly, before carefully twirling her fork around some of the noodles. Once she had some, she stabbed a piece of shrimp and put it all in her mouth. She silently chewed, swallowed, then blinked. "It's really good..." she murmured, sounding surprised, and continued eating rather quickly. Pretty soon they'd all finished and Eric gave the waiter something she didn't recognize, but she didn't ask. Instead she just glanced back to the table, listening to the boy's decide what to do next. She wouldn't admit it, but she didn't know what karaoke was. However, Hiro seemed excited and when she heard the word 'singing', her face lit up. "Yes! That's fine," she smiled.

Matt shook his head, gazing at her hand. "I'm not sure. So far, every injury I've had has healed itself pretty quick. I wasn't sure I'd be able to survive a bullet to the head, but I managed." He smirked lightly, but then sighed at her next comment. "I know... but if I go back now, the whole thing would just repeat itself. Not everyone was caught because not everyone was on scene." He fell silent for a moment, staring at the table with his head bowed. Yeah, he really really wanted to go back and see if they were alright, and let them know he was ok. He hoped his dad thought so too, and was reassuring the others, but he thought it wasn't very likely that's what was happening. "Hey," he muttered, snapping out of when she snagged his cigarettes. "Oh yeah? And why's that?" But he was secretly very pleased he was better than Ren. But then again, of course he was! That Ren guy sounded like a complete a**. Matt wouldn't be so controlling. He blinked, then held out his hand. "Gimme one, babe." He was smirking again, watching her fixedly. "And you really wanna by my girl? Won't your stalker get mad?"
[I just got a song in my head. xD "do you wanna be my girl?~"]

((ok just checking biggrin ))
Sei sat quietly as Kyochi introduced himself and then proceeded to tell Mint that he had never given love too much thought. Truth be told, Sei hadn't tought much about it either. True he always loved his family and friends, but the one thing he was mostly concerned with right now was his own health. Sei wasn't one to normally put himself first, but the fact was the use of his powers in helping others had hurt himself. He wanted to continue to be able to help others, so he wanted to be able to help himself as well so that he could continue helping others. He wasn't sure if he would say anything, but the other two seemed to be fairly open about it. He knew he wouldn't be able to make friends if he kept to himself all the time.

"To be honest," he piped up, "I've never really given love much thought either. I was more concerned about the well being of my friends and family, but that ended up causing me problems, so now I have to worry about my own health," he said. He wondered if either of them would understand what exactly he was talking about, since he hadn't been exactly clear on some things.

Kyochi just gave a slight laugh with a nervouis tone in it."No i'm no monk. I just....well never really thought it was that important so thats why i never put any thought to it." He said witha sigh. He didn't even know why he was talking about this. But it was better then being on the boat bored. "But your actully trying to find someone." He told her after she talked about some 20 year old person. He then looked over at sei and listen to his whole explainatio. He understood what he meant. "You cared so much about the people around you that you didin't see the danger that you were bringing to your self."He told sei.

Ketsu eyebrow quirked up with a smirk when Kou attempted to cuss and flirt. It was apparent that he was trying way to hard, and failing miserably at it. His words were slurred and loud, making it seem as if he had written it down and began to read it over a microphone he was assuming wasn't working. It was a strange reference, but completely true. Ketsu could remember when he was forced to attend his little cousin's play, it had something to do with Thanksgiving or Christmas, one of the December holidays. In any case, three children had to step up a lowered mike and speech some dribble that he didn't take the time to listen to, all Ketsu remembered was that they were being very loud and had to reread many words. Well, they were five year olds. So to Ketsu, Kou was like a little five year old trying to recite a speech. Accept...he was drunk. Haha, a drunk five year old would be funny, they are already hyper but then they would be all dizzy and-how did this thinking turn into talking about five year olds?(D; ) Ketsu had actually chuckled after picturing a drunk five year old, he sure did think about weird things. Suddenly feeling Kou on hip lap, a devilish grin appeared across Ketsu's face. He had heard the part about mimicking, which intrigued the demon slightly. It was a nice power, especially in situations where you didn't know what to do. You could simply copy and even out the field. Eh, Ketsu still like his powers better, who wouldn't? "You're exposing me Kou~" Ketsu didn't mind really, in fact he was still grinning when he managed to push Kou aside then stand up, gripping onto both of his hands. "Let's get you back to the room! >D"Ketsu found himself dragging the boy, he obviously didn't even have the sense of how to stand. Ketsu did a good job of getting his puppet drunk. He'd blame it on him later, Kou had been the one that insisted on having his own martini(s).

[I love that song >w<]

She listened softly vaugly wondering if he could die still...that would suck, but no wait, he was still getting older so it wasn't like he was immortal or anything. She softly wondered what Ren would do if she knew how Matt really was, he wasn't what anything could expect and she found it hard to describe him somehow. Jane watched him after he spoke of his family situation a little more and her eyes widened greatly surprised by that look that he was giving her. Her expression softened for a minute as she looked at him and fiddled with his cigarette box instead of giving it to him immdately. She wanted to say something romantic like 'let's quit together and live for just each other'...Hey wait =o= that sounds cheesy. she thought with a slight smirk as she rubbed the back of her head. She gave in as she tossed him one of his own cigarettes back and then took another drag from the one she held. She frowned as she looked at him making a face at him on purpose as she stuck out her tongue. "We sound like we're in some kind of seventies movie. But yeah sure whatever" she said wavering her hand slightly as she pretended that she didn't care. She put her legs under her body as she fiddled with her postion a bit more, she wasn't sure how to act around him really but she figured that he wouldn't care much what she did. She snapped out of it again as the grim beep filled the silence for a moment, she didn't look at him as she picked it out of her pocket. Her hair covered her eyes as she just stared at it for a moment in silence, watching the screen that flashed his name. Then suddenly she quickly flipped it open "Hey." she said her voice sounding defeted.

Mint just smirked at Kyochi for a moment not bothering to say that she'd rather be a monk herself. It'd be a hell of a lot better than trying to form a realtionship with anyone without her screwing it up somehow. Her expression softened as she listened to Sei talk for a moment and just stood silent for a moment. Was it selfish...? She wasn't going to view it that way for her, because the main reason she didn't have a lover was because she was too busy looking for ones for her friends or buisness partners. She wanted to change the subject though, and get this gloomy feeling off of her mind. She suddenly reached over and cuddled Sei, squeeking lightly "Sei ~ your so sweet >w<" she said with a smile as she snuggled into him. After giving him a nice hug she pulled back away and turned to look at both of them. "Well I know we all came here to get food, but to be honest I'd like to go see the beach! I've been too busy at the sign-up area to do much. I'll get you both some icecream or something at one of their stands." she said as she stood up, and softly streatched, she wondered what she really did want anymore though, she felt as confused as she did when she was a little kid.

[Are we thinking of the same one? >>]

Matt reached out, lightly catching the cigarette in his hand. He set it between his lips, and withdrew a lighter from his pocket to light it. He took a drag and then blew out, feeling something he hadn't felt in quite a while; regret, maybe even slight depression. He didn't like lingering on thoughts like this for too long. He missed his parents, and he hoped his little sister was alright. How was she faring without her big brother to protect her? So he was glad when she finally spoke up with a completey different subject, sort of. "Seventies movie?" he chuckled, then raised a brow. "Just whatever? Fine then, maybe I'll find someone else." He smirked, not serious at all but sounding slightly like he was. Though, there was a kidding undertone beneath it. He watched her curiously, wondering why she was being so quiet and shifting her position. Was she nervous? He smirked, but it faded instantly when he heard her phone ring. He slumped forward silently, his head bumping against the table gently. It was turned to the side, his cheek resting against the wood as he stared at the wall, the cigarette hanging limply between his lips.

[Maybe...D: It's kinda fast and upbeat >.> Write out yours in the Occ xD <33]

Jane blinked as she continued talking to Ren, he didn't tell her what he wanted but she figured that it had to do something with delivering a package because he seemed rush and told her to bring her drivers lisence. She hung up soon enough, and knew that she wouldn't have hardly any time with Matt today because she would need sleep when she got back. She wondered if he would get bored of her not being around and just go and find someone else to hang around with. She didn't really believe he was that type of person though, and tried to keep her spirits up slightly. She stood up as she walked over to where he was and sat down right next to him, wrapping her hands around him and softly tugging on his shirt as she hugged him to herself. "I'm sorry. Being together will give us both complications but I really am just yours, if he trys to pull something on me then I'd rather die than let him. Stick around longer though, eventually Ren will get bored of this game and leave me alone a little bit, I really do want to spend time with." she whispered to him as she kissed him gently after removing his cigarette for a minute, she deepened it caringly befor pulling back away and handing him back his cigarette while she still clinged to her own, the taste of Matt within it. She stood up as she started to walk off "Hey! Don't get drunk and do something stupid while I'm gone" she said as she tugged down her eyelid with her free hand and stuck out her tongue, making a face before giving him a grin and leaving.

[Kay~ D:]

Matt left his head on the table, staring dully at the wall as he listened to their conversation, trying to determine what it was he wanted her to do. No sex, he thought grimly, wrinkling his nose at the idea. I won't allow it. He lifted his head slightly, turning to look at her when he felt her arms wrap around him. From his awkward position, he managed to get one arm around her in return, squeezing her gently and not wanting to let go. For a moment he considered refusing to, then changed his mind. "I'll stick around, babe," he murmured. "Someone's gotta eat our food." He grinned lightly, sitting up a little more and kissing her fondly back until she pulled away. He took his cigarette back and chuckled at her comment. "What? I'm only allowed to get drunk and do stupid things with you?" He stuck his tongue out at her, then turned to face the table again, taking another deep drag off the cigarette. Don't go... he thought sulkily, closing his eyes.

Kyochi just watched as the girl talked. He stood up right after her and stretched as well. At least he finally got to meet two more people on this trip so far."Hey don't worry i'll buy it for the tree of us. If you were at that dreadful booth waiting for others then it should be you getting the free stuff not you giving it. So don't worry i'll pay for the ice cream/." He told her. He knew that sitting at the booths must of been boring and hot at the same time. So the least he would do is be the one buying the ice cream for the three."Come on lets get going."He said as he began walking towards the beach.

Sei wasn't sure what to make of Kyochi's comment. He had said he was endangering himself blindly because he could only see the needs of others. Was it a compliment? Or was he calling Sei foolish for harming himself? Sei didn't want to offend Kyochi accidentally, so decided not to say anythign about his comment. He wouldn't have had the opportunity anyways, because he was quickly pulled into a violent hug by Mint, who called him sweet. When she mentioned going to the beach, Sei's eyes lit up. He hadn't been to the beach in years. His parents had always wanted him to stay home for fear of him getting sunstrok because of his vulnerable state, but he had always thought a bit of sun and surf would do him good.

"Are we really gonnago to the beach?!" he asked excitedly, standing up in the process, almost knocking over his chair.
