It should be another ten or so minutes until the Maken's shard adjusts to your jewel and blends in, removing the corruption. *And as he spoke Kohana could feel the shard changing itself to match the rest of the jewel*

The shard from the Maken had already began to blend in, but it did not make a difference in the corrupted flame. "...It's not the Maken shard.... it's the diamond itself; ...It reads the Maken shard as a foreign enemy..." Kohana said weakly.

Can you tell me how I can help? How can the diamond accept it? *For once Makenshi actually looked worried which was new for his silent calmness.*

"...I'm not sure how... But it is burning up every contient in my stomach. I worried if it doesn't stop and completely kills me..." Kohana said.
After a couple minutes, and the only thing left within Kohana's stomach was the serenity diamond and ash, the flame finally returned normal.

"...I believe so, but in the process it's taken a lot of my life and energy away." Kohana said, feeling hungry, but the ash made her lose a big part of her appetite.

*Makenshi reached into an unseen pocket in his cape and pulled out half a loaf of bread, ripped it in half, and handed one half to Kohana.* You should eat and try to regain your strength. We'll stay here until you recover. I put up a barrier that only someone as strong as my brother can break.

"...Thank you, Makenshi. I'm not sure I would be alive right now without your help." Kohana said gratfully to Makenshi, which was unlike her normal 'take it and be quiet'. She ate the bread slowly.

It's alright, I just don't want to lose anybody else.

When Kohana finished, she spoke. "You won't have to worry about that. Even if I do die, I'll always be with you. And who knows, if that did happen, I'm sure that I'll end up back on the Earth again somehow." she said. Yeah, because appearently I'm not welcome in either Heaven or Hell, she thought.

*Makenshi just looked at her with much softer eyes than he had looked at his brother with, before going back to his bread.*

Kohana smiled. She tried to stand up, using the wall as a support, and walked over to Makenshi, but ended up tripping and was leaning against Makensh's chest, due to her new light weight.

Are you okay? *Makenshi put his hands on her and moved her to the part of the wall directly next to him.* (like 1 inch from him)

"Yeah, I guess I'm still a bit weak, but at least I can feel my chakra and jutsu returning." Kohana said.

I fell tired, although that may be because I haven't slept in a few weeks.
