Prixy Daiku Maryu There's The Last Unicorn, which I love since I was a wee little girl. It's pretty. I completely agree with you there. Goodness, my copy of it's so well loved it doesn't play that well anymore. It's simply magical. ^^I used to drive my family crazy, since I watched it every time it was on TV. For some funny reason RTL2 made it one of their Christmas movies.

I think i have to many favorite movies to pick one above all. The one that stands out most has to be "The Last Unicorn", it's really old and animated but i love it so much because it was one of the first movies i remember seeing. along with "The Lion King" and "The Pagemaster".

I want to see Brokeback Mountain. NOW. It won 7 Golden Globe awards, so it must be good.
But nooooo. I'm just a few months shy of 17 and the ONLY movie theatre in my area that's playing it requires an ID for R-rated movies =_=

*pets Ja* I wish I could come take you to the movie. ;-; I got IDed at a theatre once. Shawna wanted to see Gangs of Chicago and we were both 17. Didn't even realise it was 18+ when we planned to go. We wound up watching "What a Girl Wants" instead. Yah, G rated move at 10 pm on a Friday. xd
I swear I shall see it in theatres soon.
Geography Club is supposed to be getting a movie. *.*

*jumping round in small circles*
I fianlly got my hands on 'Howl's Moving Castle'!!!! I loved the book so much I almost died when i heard about the movie! I was so happy. heart
The movie's good but it anyone has read the book (and i've read it a fair few times (pages are beginning to fall out)) you can tell straight away loas of it was changed. Which was a pity but it's still good.
Anyone else seen it?

Sadly I haven't seen that yet. Isn't that another Hayao Miyazaki film?
Mmm, last one of his I watched was Kiki's Delivery Service and I loved it.
Anyone ever seen Pom Poko? I saw it a couple months back and just fell in love with the idea of it. It takes Japanese myths about raccoons and foxes and creates a compelling story centred around the raccoons losing their homes. Strange, yes, but I found it fascinating. Especially the fables it incorperated.

Pom Poko looked really interesting.

It was surprisingly good. I was pretty sceptical at first. Come on, it's an environmental movie about transforming racoons.
Mmm, I love it too. They're just such loveable stories.

I bought the dvd for The Last Unicorn a few months ago, I still remember when I first saw that movie(at age ten)and I was kinda weirded out by the talking tree with...boobs...
I like most musicals. 3nodding Musicals that make me want to tear out my eyes; Kiss me Kate Oklahoma! West Side Story
Musicals I love; Hairspray Rent Chicago Cats Singin in the rain On the town The Unsinkable Molly Brown (theres way to many more to list)
Favorite non-musical movie........hmmm......Queen of The Damned, yeah I know it really sucks compared to the books, but if you hadn't read the books you'd love it.(probably)
My Favorite Book-Movies/Game-Movies/TV Series-Movies; Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe Silent Hill Spongebob Squarepants Movie Pokemon Sailor Moon Ah! My Goddess Doom And coming soon, THE HALO MOVIE!
Book Movies that I HATE with a pasion; Harry Potter movies
I could type more...but i'm to tired

In my opinion the worst movie based off a novel is Stuart Little.
They raped the book.
I cried after it because the story was so brutalised.
