Brayden made his way down the hall, soon enough finding a tech who worked there. After a few questions, he pointed down the hall, giving Brayden instructions. He returned to the group with a smile.
"Looks like we're not the only ones who have done this, it seems. They keep guest rooms on the bottom floor for trainers stopping by. We can spend the night there if we'd like. I for one, am going to take them up on that offer," he laughed, making his way down the hallway where the tech had pointed, and, finding a vacant room, entered, and deposited his things next to the door before making his way to bed.

Kaya didn't remember falling asleep, just waking up in a strange room that he didn't recognize at first. He finally remembered where he was and decided that he needed to overcome his sensitivity to light...or at least try to, while he was here. He removed his blindfold with his eyes closed and then slowly opened them, only a crack, and tried to get accustomed to the light on his oddly hued eyes once more.

Chloe eventually woke up, glancing about the room she had been staying in, before stretching, and making her way out of the guest room. Deciding on exploring the strange place a bit, she headed up the stairs out of curiosity. Staying out of the way of the scientists who were still extremely busy, even this early in the morning, she watched their various experiments.

Chloe laughed, "I know, this stuff is way over my head, although it does seem interesting." She glanced out the window, pleased to see the thunderstorm had died down to a mere drizzle out the windowpanes. It still cast a grayish hue on everything, but at least it wasn't lightning.
"Think we could head outside for a bit?" she suggested. "We didn't get much time to explore last time, so this might be a good chance to do so."

"Quite true," Chloe agreed, making her way out of the door and into the light drizzle that was going on outside. The sound of the waterfall over compassed that for the most part, though, as the water under the bridge swelled with the recent rains.
"I'm always curious to see whether that thing ever floods," Chloe commented, looking down at the water under the bridge. "It always seems to be rainy here, so I wouldn't be surprised.

"I'm sure there are a ton of bugs out," Chloe laughed, "They like dark, damp places. I'm sure Kaz would be miserable, though. A place like this doesn't suit a Charizard."
The darkening under the treetops caused Chloe to pause for a moment to get her eyes adjusted to the lack of light. But she continued forward alongside her friend once she could see.
"It is a bit dark in here," she commented.
