As a note of interest, who believes that we're all actually going to be on clouds, playing harps? ^^ Heaven is going to be very different then what many people think if my pastor is correct.
Which, it must be admitted, he probably is.

Grey, Star, play nice. Jesus loves each of us, no matter what we've done, so long as we're sorry. That's what forgiveness is all about.
I'm not too big on the playing harps and floating on clouds thing. I leave that to the angels of mythology. polythesitic ninnymuggins'..... lol

xd Sushi, you couldn't play a harp if your life depended on it. Well, if you're dead, I guess that doesn't matter, but you get what I mean. I just hope they all play as well as Akio Watanabe... she was amazing! 0.0

*Laughs* My pastor convinced me with his explanation, working with the "Revelations is a metaphorical book" theory. It really does all make sense. The famous line about "a new heaven, and a new earth" was referring to the earth and the atmosphere, not Heaven, and a large number of other things. Also, it seems God will NOT be the supreme ruler of the world. ^^ Other Kings are going to be bowing to him, so...

Well, he IS the supreme ruler, but after the apocolypse, the idea is that he'll be primarily taking on a section of the world. Namely, Jerusalem. The rest is going to be governed by whoever else, but he is still going to be with all of us. ^^
More is that the new Jerusalem will not, in fact, be 1400 kilometers (or miles, don't remember which) square, that was just a metaphor too. So were many of the plagues and other things. They only symbolize what's actually going to happen.
Funnily, though, he explained six theories about the "Thousand Years". Which were... Very interesting. He advised just keeping an open mind and let what happens happen. ^^ Very interesting stuff. I'll see if I can get a copy of his lesson sometime to post up here.
