I don't think Magician would lie to you guys, if it worked for him, than it worked for him. Just because it didn't work for you, doesn't mean you have to doubt him.

try clicking new game without deleting it, so you won't loose your things.

I would try it, but I don't have emerald. Is there a way to do it with Sapphire? Maybe by making your name Sammy, since Prof. Oak met Celebi as a child. It was just something I was thinking off.

bloodsoaked I'd at least import all my pokemon before trying that I already did that so I guess whats the loss in trying? except maybe damage to the game which I like so dearly
