My ear won't stop bleeding. The other day at work... El: Ky, your ear is bleeding. Ky: No it's not. El: It's not? Honey, there is blood in your ear. Your ear is red.Ky: It's dried. I'm not bleeding. El: It disturbs me that you have dried blood in your ear. Ky: It was a whole hell of a lot more disturbing this morning when I woke up in a puddle of my own blood. El: ... eek Ky: 3nodding El: Well, um, could you maybe wash your ear or something? That might scare customers. And we're having a safety meeting next week about bloodborne pathogens and... Yeah. So. It's been doing that for about a week and a half. The Katters threw a fit, which is what happens when you're raised by doctors. You know all sorts of things people shouldn't know, and then can recite it all in grand fashion when your friends ail. Something about pressure on the brain? Apparently the headache went along with that theory. Crazy paranoid Katters. Also: what we did last night instead of sleeping. Followed by Version 2.0. If you look at those and get confused, simply refer to this. Thankyouandhaveaniceday. biggrin

I am called Ky, Ky-Ky, Bertha, and Droid on a daily basis. They also call me Charlie, b***h, Massa, Jesus (do not ask), and Jest. Miki occasionally calls me Charappa. A few people call me Sabinchen. Some call me Castro.
And sometimes I think my real name withered and died from disuse.

Rae and I have both been abandoned by our families for a few days, and are therefore bored and lonely.
I am therefore taking my father's car, despite the definite lack of a driver's license, and kidnapping her.

Ended up spending the night at Squeak's. I didn't really so much kidnap her as kidnap myself to her.
We watched Howl's Moving Castle, drooled over Howl, and found a beautifully illustrated version of The Scarlet Pimpernel at the Acoustic Cafe. Win, I say.
Got unutterably lost this morning in her town the size of a semicolon. stare

Also: saw the Harry Potter movie on Friday night [see: got dragged into it because my ride home from work was seeing it with his boyfriend and their friend and their friend's sister, who, incidentally, is something like my archnemesis... and so on and so forth].
Sequence and lighting were f'amazing. The dialogue was too forced, and the acting was mediocre. Costumes were win.
I was the only one in the theater squeeing involuntarily at the adorableness of Grawp. Was awarded funny looks.
As characters, most of them are fairly weak. Rowling may be a master of plot, but her characterization is rather poor. They're not terribly in-depth, inconsistent, and cliched. Not one character in the entirety of the Harry Potter series exists outside an established archetype.
Bellatrix just screamed Beloved. She got points.
I love the way Snape pronounces his consonants. He also got points.
Has anyone else noticed the patently obvious Star Wars parallel in HP?

I found an iron pitchfork at work today. Five prongs. With that deliciously devilish hook to each prong.
Also got new books: a sci-fi (Herbert) and Social Change in Modern India. IknowI'mageekshutup.

My weekend... so much win omgar. eek
I thought I'd hate it, but the energy, the pace, the pulse, the rush, the lights, the beat... I LOVED it! It seemed like such a stupid, silly thing when I started, just a petty way to earn money, but the runway is becoming my happy place. I thought I'd hate all the vacant little models, but there are, in fact, people like me, and people with whom I've become, you know, friends. I thought I'd hate slicing sodium and fat from my diet, but I feel better when I eat now.
*trots off to play*

I stole Dolphin's copy of The Book last night and finished it sometime this morning. Straight through reading. Five hours or so.
The ending made me spit and hiss.

Bah, I don't like fanfic. At all. What bothered me was the "Did you order extra cheese with this?" factor of it all. mad
... *wicked grin* *suddenly has an idea* *scurries off to write death fanfic*

lol oh geez.... I believe my satire fic was quite interesting for what it was worth. PR genre, using Kat and Kim as a couple and making fun of all the couples that "could" be used in fanfics for PR... it's a better read than me describing it XD
