Damion and Zelik exchanged glances.
Damion then chuckled.
"I guess we were being too loud..." He said and Zelik glared at him.
"Nevermind that. We have to find somewhere to stay." He said. "If she found us then others will too."
"Oh right.." Damion replied.
"I'll grab our supplies." He then jumped down back into the alley.

"Don't worry. Kun-Opps will make sure everyone's inside for the next hour. But if you want, you could stay at my place." Eiko offered.

"Er..." Zelik muttered.
"Take her up on her offer Zelik." Damion said as he jumped back onto the roof.
"For god's sake, it'll only be for an hour or two."
Zelik shuffled. He was only comfortable around Damion but...
"I guess..." He muttered.

"Awesome." Eiko said and pointed to a house not too far away. "That's where we need to go..." She looked to the left, down her street. "But...Kun-Opps are on their way. They must've heard us." She jumped to a roof. We might be able to make it there...But it's risky.

Damion and Zelik smirked and Zelik took their packs.
"Don't worry, girl." Damion said and kicked off the ground. He shot forward and scooped Eiko up without stopping. Zelik was right behind them.
"Get ready for a sudden drop." Damion said as they jumped from the roof to the tree branches outside Eiko's bedroom window. He then slipped inside with ease and Zelik slipped in behind him.
Damion then set Eiko down.
"Was that fast enough?" He asked. Zelik looked out the window.
"I don't think they even notied us." He said.

"Wow!" Eiko exclaimed, eyes wide with amazement "You guys are awesome!!"
She looked out the window as the Kun-Opps were heading down the street.
"And they won't know a thing!" She whispered with delight.

"No one can compete with thieves like us." Damion said proudly.
"Don't get so arrogant." Zelik snapped and turned to Eiko.
"Now that big mouth let it slip....We're thieves." He said. "But don't let that ruin you're impression of us."
"Yeah, we only cut throats and torch towns every fortnight." Damion joked.
Zelik glared at him.
"Ignore him. We've never done that. We just take what we need."
"Speaking of which, could you help verify our information?" Damion asked. "We need to know the exact location of the Kun-Opps' headquarters."

Eiko laughed a bit.
"I don't know, I've never been...But Shinji does." She looked at her clock.
5:00 Am huh?
"I'm meeting him at the large foutain in town square at noon, if you want to come. Oh! By the way, I'm Eiko."

"I'm Zelik and this is Damion." Zelik said.
"I'm from Norshi." Damion said and Zelik slapped his forehead. Norshi was mostly inhabited by demons...Damion had such an open mouth.
Zelik wanted to change the subjuect quickly, he looked around and frowned sadly.
"....What's...with all the medicine?" He asked.

Eiko's head lowered a bit.
"The barriers...They've had a strange effect on me since I was very young. It's been eating away at me. Medics from all around the country have been giving me different medicines and telling me to stay inside..." She sighed a bit. "But one day...I'm getting out of Kuneer. I'm going to break down those barriers..."
And avenge Mina...

Zelik looked at the sad expression on Damion's face and sighed.
"...This is what the barriers did to me..." Zelik said and his body began to morph as he grew tall and curvy. His face became rounded and smooth and his silver hair grew and turned gold until there was an adult woman standing in the room.
"I can change my body to just about anything." He said, even his voice turned womanish. "Animal, human, you name it. It's a power no one else has...becuase it's not EXACTLY magic. The barriers amplified and twisted my magical abilities until I could do this....I've had this since birth." The female Zelik sat down on the edge of Eiko's bed. "My magic is strong enough to even change my clothes."
Damion frowned. He hadn't been in Kuneer long enough to be affected so badly.

"The medics said I might have strange variations too... But all it did was make me weaker...and change my hair and eye color." She sat on the bed. "But Shinji and I have an idea on how to escape."

Damion suddenly perked up.
"What kind of idea?" He asked.
"You are really straightforward aren't you Damion?" Zelik asked as he morphed back to his normal form.
"I want out of here too. My magic is weakened at night. I'd give anything to feel the sun again..." Damion said. Zelik nodded. "I've never even seen sun." He admitted, but it was obvious from looking at his eyes. Zelik had pale blue eyes that aren't used to sunlight.
Damion walked over to the window and looked out.
"I don't see any Kun-Opps anywhere." He said.

Eiko stood on the bed, looking at an indent in her celing. She pushed on it and a hatch opened. She grabbed a few papers from the room and closed the hatch again, the sat on her bed once more.
"Ok. This map show where the weakest point of the barrier is." Eiko said and pointed to a spot not too far from where they were.
"But the bad thing is that Kun-Opps soldiers are guarding the place 24/7." She unrolled a piece of paper.
"But, these records show that for a few minutes every night, the soldiers leave for duty change. Shinji and I think that if we can bust through the barrier and get out before they come back, we'll finally be free."
