Greek god and goddesses were a rapresentation of every aspect of human life,just immortalized.So in the various miths you find every aspect of human life:jealousy (for example the mith of the marriage Aphrodite and Hephaestus and her lover Ares),adultery(Zeus and his many human lovers),lust,betrayal,love (Orpheus and his Hephaestus in Hell to bring back his wife),curiosity (the mith of Pandora's vase)...
I really find that interesting because they painted quite well every aspect of human life.
