They laughed gently as if this were a joke. "Dude, what the hell was the load of s**t?" He looked at his other friends once. One of the more rounder ones said, "He is going soft!" Audrey shivered slightly as she saw one of their glowers transfer to her. "This dame is gunna be your wife?" They all burst out in even more laughter. Audrey's heart dropped sadly, and she downcasted her eyes away from the men around her.

-his fangs grew and he snarled at them. His wings burst opens like Wes when he was indicating to them "back off". He unsheathed his blade and looked at them-you have a problem of me getting a wife! Go fall in love with someone when you know your heart is as black and as cold as ice! you'll know nuthing what it feels! Audrey makes me feel like i dont have to fight to respect her! Like i dont have to kill to be wanted. I love her with all my being...you hurt her....you heurt me! so if you lay a finger or anything on her i'll kill you all!-he closed his eyes and then opened them revealing completely black eyes with red pupils like drae's-do ya hear me!-a sharp gust of wind pounded down on all of them-

Scared out of their minds, they toppled over and scrambled to get back on their feet. The leader yelped, "Lets get out of hear!" before the gang disapeared into the ruins. Audrey sat silent at his feet looking up at him. Another tear fell down her cheek but they weren't of fear and sadness. She just stared up at him like a confused little child.

-he held her close and kissed her on the lips-everything is ok love. I scared them off. Now where do you want to go we can go anywhere you want-he smiled at her and then whiped one of her tears away-

Audrey shivered, pressing herself against him weakly. "I want to go home..." she whispered sadly, closing her eyes and imagining it vaguely. "Please."

alright...-he took her hand and walked with her out away from the place towards hr home which was just down the road.-

She stumbled every few steps, dropping to her knees. She struggled to get back up, wobbling from side to side as if she had a huge weight on her shoulders preventing her from standing. Audrey sighed, soon just collasping and sat on the ground. The dirt that would cling to the dress just simply slid off, not staining it at all. "I...," she sighed. "I can't make it."

Audrey looked up at him weakly, smiling gently. She leaned her head against his shoulder, sliding an arm around his shoulder for support. "Thank you." she mumbled, closing her eyes slowly.
