If they make a sequel ( WHICH THEY SHOULD!) i think he has to be, that's like the five-millionith time he's saved ametris (just this is the public apperence of it)

i think the sequel would be about finding another way back to the other world. *thinks "trilogy please?"*

Anyway, I'm glad to see that you all were crushed by Roy's rank in the movie (in a purely non-sadistic way!). I mean, I was plain ANGRY that he would be such a sad little emo kid. I mean, a lot of the time anime characterization isn't too true to the manga, but this was practically ANTI-character. I couldn't/wouldn't believe it.

It amuses me that you all love Roy as a parental figure. I mean, I love Roy x Ed, but I love Parental!Roy also. It's so cute, and there's actually evidence of it. However, I always think back to Ed's line of, "Could it be that you were planning this from the beginning?" which is repeated a couple of times. xD I mean, yea. Maybe if you distinctly hated everything about Roy, you'd see him like that.

As for the chess metaphor, I found it extremely clever also.

@ Letishia: LOL, him writing his own poetry would have its setbacks. I'm reminded of his song also. Ohmygod. "DISCO INFERNO!" xD *cracks up* Okay, you've officially ruined my attempt to be serious.

Oh, right. He can still tease in the rain. And THE PEN IS MIGHTIER THAN THE SWORD (I wrote "pwn" the first time...)! Which has nothing to do with anything. But anyway, words > actions, in this case. xD

And yea. I think Roy should be the Fuhrer one day, because he's tough but loyal, and also dedicated. I mean, I think he'd be quite good at it. And this all brings to light my theory that Roy will NOT die in the manga, despite what some of you think. I mean, I'd probably cry. For like a month. D:

I would too! crying So I think Roy will live. I think both Roy and Ed will make it through. Riy writing his own poetry would make him very emo, if he didn't come up with a bunch of egotistical crack (which he would).

I knoowww~ And there are a lot of theories that either Roy or Ed or both will die. I don't want to believe it. And I definitely don't think Arakawa-sensei would kill off Ed just like that. I mean, that would be FRICKIN' UNFAIR. D:

Yea, and Roy really doesn't need to be so emo. Though, have any of you ever tried writing emo poetry? Is surprisingly easy. xDD (Don't ask me why I did. It wasn't my idea, I swear!)
