Well, with fanfiction, you take a horrible fic. You insert amusing, yet insulting comments into it. You... well, that's about it. Yeah...

That's it? Are you serious? She made it sound so... professional, like. I thought it was actual movie critique that I would've done for my Media class or something. o__. With her love for formal essays, I wasn't about to doubt it.

Yep, the MST-style ones are the stories that have random script-format insertions in them. The ones with bolded insertions that aren't written in script format aren't strictly MST-style in their formatting but are otherwise the same. I don't know of anyone who does it to movies (though Cleolinda's Movies in Fifteen Minutes is almost the same in a way), but I'm sure we could manage it. Finora: It can be done "properly", I suppose. I mean, I've done similar critiques in a class setting (though never for assessment). And I do love formal essays, that's true, but I don't think I could write one about badfic (or bad movies, but really, what's the difference?). I'm sorry for confusing everyone...

it's ok we forgive you! You all realize of course that we have yet to bash a single movie.

If we're bashing movies, can I spare a moment to send out hate vibes to any movie that is the third in a series, minus ROTK. Yes, that includes Shrek, it certainly includes Spiderman, it includes POTC, and it so, so includes HP. Threequels are not the answer.

The HP threequal can burn in hell. But, I still want to keep my DVD. -_- I haven't seen Shrek 3 yet, so I can't say whether or not I want it to roast. POTC wasn't bad. Spiderman 3 should be sent off into space, never to be seen again. That was a horrible, HORRIBLE movie. God, my family couldn't understand why I hated it so much. I think I replied with something along the lines of, "Uh... Did you even watch the movie?"
I was very disappointed in Spiderman 3. God, I love Spiddyman.

I haven't seen Spiderman 3 yet - I hadn't even seen the first two until earlier this year, when I realised that we have them both on DVD and forced myself to sit through both of them. Tobey Maguire =/= The Amazing Spiderman. Kirsten Dunst =/= Mary Jane Watson. Hell, Kirsten Dunst =/= that great an actress.
But that's a whole separate rant.

Oh, he's not that bad, I just didn't like him as Spiderman.
Though he does have the most adorable blue eyes.

I liked him as Spiderman. He's got this cute nerdy thing going that worked for Spiderman, I just think the third movie was the most terrible thing I've ever seen.
And you want to talk about adorable blue eyes, no one beats Elijah Wood

I liked the nerdiness, but it was a little overdone at times, and there were places where his emotions just seemed a little over-the-top.
Also, J.D. from Scrubs has blue eyes.
...This is not a conversation I should be encouraging.

Yeah, but I think that was more the director's decision rather than the actors.
Does he really? I've never noticed that. Dominic Monaghan has really pretty grey-blue eyes.
At least we're being off topic but still kind of on topic

You have a point, but it still made the movie less enjoyable for me.
Indeed. It's rather endearing, actually. I didn't notice about Dominic Monaghan's eyes, but I'll Google some images when I get home.

Blue eyes... Don't make me think about who's got pretty blue eyes! T.T And, Tobey Maquire is a great actor. Look how he did when he was Red in Seabiscuit! God, I love that movie.
Why are we having a conversation like this? Although, I find it extremely amusing. So... blue eyes... T.T
