Personally, I don't see a problem with it. To me the phallus is simply a form of pleasuring your partner and making them happy. In the end, that's what it comes down to for me. Plus, it really shows that women can have sex without a man present.

Lastly... like kageling said, lets not knock on other people's fetishes. The homosexual community, like the fetish community like having and doing things relationship wise that isn't considered 'normal' by mainstream society. Actually, futanari does fall within the yuri category. It's often targeted at girl-love readers and fans, and while it's not considered "vanilla" yuri, it is still usually intended to be two girls (generally the only thing that makes one or more of the girls not-solidly-female is the presence of the penile structure).

I feel balanced about this topic.
In one aspect, I don't see the point of dildos or the use of some vegetable (etc) for penetration purposes. I feel women have many other ways to pleasure each other outside of using material objects for penetration... especially dildos. (I'm honestly not a fan of p***s, but I still like boys, which is weird...) Anyway. I feel that in yuri they should show more reality, as Kage put it. It's easier to relate to and, personally, I think it's so much hotter than whipping out the sex toys. To see how two women know each other's body and their own abilities in an act of passion is beautiful and much more attractive than women that have to turn to other objects other than what's already on their bodies to pleasure each other.
In another aspect, I respect those who say that it's another method of pleasuring a partner. That's fine. I can understand that when two women love each other, they will do what each other desires to physically meet each other's wants. Some people have different ways of handling and having sex. There is no right or wrong way, but there is way of personal preference.

I don't really think it's needed. Like previously stated girls have many ways to pleasure each other that doesn't include a sex toy or a p***s. And also previously stated Maka-Maka is a very good example of how you don't need them. You just need to really know who your with and know their body and what makes them feel good. I mean a d***o isn't that bad as long as it's not focused on but absolutely know male parts! I hate seeing that.

I never minded dildos or phallic objects when it came to pleasuring one's partner before. But I can no longer say that. I completely am disgusted to see phallic objects in lesbian porn. Yeah, they're pleasuring each other but...damn, is it a turn off sometimes. xP
As for sex, I wouldn't really want to use a d***o or a strap on. As many of you said, I think it's about bonding to your partner emotionally and physically; not about constantly relying on an inanimate object that doesn't have feelings. I prefer it stay out of my yuri, simply because I don't find that attractive in the least. It's a turn-off for me. Rape in yuri bothers me, as well. The thing I always liked about girlxgirl relationships is that they're usually (though not always) a lot more gentle and emotional-based than het or yaoi, and rape kind of goes against that.
