I thought Penny was maybe on the group of people Ben mentioned that is trying to find the island, and she's in some sort of research place that constantly is checking for transmissions from the island, and then they noticed that they weren't blocked anymore... or something.

What the hell is up with eyepatch guy though!?? Why can't he die? This is his second death and yet he's still aliiiiiive. I'm so confuuuuuused. And how is Desmond supposed to get out with eyepatch guy outside?


But Penny said she wasn't on the boat and had no idea who Naomi was. o_O

And eyepatch guy took it off the eyepatch, so now he's gross eye-socket guy.

And Ze, buy the seasons and start catching up!!!! scream

I think Ben was wrong or lying about Naomi being part of those people but they actually do exist, so Penny and Naomi aren't related.

And did eyepatch/gross eye-socket guy have his eyepatch off when he was outside the window with the grenade?

Balloons -

I believe that when Ben said that they would kill them, he meant that they would remove them from the Island, which is actually a paradise.

You may notice that the people who were killed off on the Island so far didn't really want to be on it. Most of the people left actually are better off on the island. (partially seen in jack's flashforward)

However, he could have meant it literally because Naomi seemed to think that they should not be alive, and maybe she and her crew are part of a team hired to kill the inhabitants of that island for disrupting the Dharma project.

It is pretty clear that Naomi/Penny are NOT related. First Penny didnt know who that was, and she is searching for them. However, Penny's father is involved with Dharama (the alternate realty game played over the summer shed some clues on this matter)

Also, the amazing Russian pirate ninja just took off his eyepatch, not that hard. He only has it on to hide his eye socket to not gross out weak people, he dosen't actually need it to survive.

I dunno, Kate acted like she was better off the island and it seems kind of tough for paradise.

I know the Russian guy took off his eyepatch but Desmond shot him with that spear thing and he seemed pretty dead, but then you see him outside the window and I don't remember whether or not he had his eyepatch on then. There's definitely something up with him since he keeps practically rising from the dead.
