Yawning, Yume asked, "Didn't you already ask me that...? And did I not say I was fine? Gomen!*short version of I'm sorry*" Smiling blearily, Yume rose woozily to her feet. Smiling dreamily, Yume waved her hand and shook her head. "No, thanks, I like having them around despite the unfortunate side effects... and it'd be rude to ignore them," she said, presuming the girl referred to the restless spirits. She took a step or two, then stopped to lean against a tree. This wasn't exactly Yume being tired; Yume was usually just lazy like that. She hiked often but her hikes often ended in naps... or started with them, in some cases... smile Okay then... gotta get off in a min.

Yume laughed hoarsely. "Lady?" she wondered under her breath to herself. Since when has she ever acted like a lady, eh? Hardly spending any time at home... hardly ever taking a guard with her... why, she was lucky not to be dead yet.

Taryn leaned against the wall in the corner, not opening her eyes or looking around. She knew the cell was small; she just hoped she didn't start to get claustrophobic like she had the last time she was imprisoned...

Blinking, Yume shrugged at the girl. "I've done nothing to deserve respect but been born. That's hardly something to celebrate... and my name is Yume, so if you have to call me princess, at least don't make me feel like all there is to me is a title..."
Despite her sassy- for her, anyway- words, Yume was smiling and started off down the path again, pushing off of the tree...

"Nope," Yume affirmed without smile, the cheerfulness suddenly absent from her expression. The moment didn't last and she was smiling again. "What's your name, eh? Did someone send you to check on me...?" Most people avoided her or put up a fuss, didn't just follow along quietly conversing with her...

Kanin had been hiding in the trees, watching her sister with concern. She bit her lip and strode out into plain view, embracing her sister and standing before her protectively. "Who's this, Yume-chan?" she asked, studying the other girl.

Smiling and wrapping her arms around her sister's shoulders from behind Yume introduced her as "Aki the Girl Whom has been Almost Casually Conversing With Me these Past Few Moments." Yume liked to give people unnecessary introductions such as this. It gave spirits enough information about a person to have a little fun, and Yume had fun watching the fun they sometimes caused... "I was about to discover what she required of me... is something wrong, Sister?"
