Congrats! I'll take your word for it, but if you want to post said photo, feel free to do so. I'm glad that you bought your own copy. You'll find it's much more handy than a pdf alone anyway. biggrin

Enjoy.

Nothing like crack eyes to validate all superstitions when you tell them you've been reading TSB. xd

I go to a technical college. Believe me, we know what monitors can do to your eyes. We've developed a tolerance for computer screens, but you'll still see people with crack eyes, especially during finals week.

I work at a Borders. 3nodding

I actually convinced one of my coworkers to buy a copy. The same day, I bought the last copy. I get a 33% discount off books. whee

I was REALLY hoping someone would say something. Though I did get a horrified look once when a lady overheard me saying I converted a 13-year-old to Satanism. It was awesome. xd

hahaha! rofl highlarious!
my town doesn't have a borders (i'm going to assume it's a bookstore) , but i got mine at barnes & noble. i was so excited, because they had it the first time i got there. i had to hitch a ride with my freind & her boyfreind - i aints gots no drivers licenses - but it was actually kind of creepy, the lady at the desk led me to it, found it, and even dug out from behind the oter books, as if i'f asked for a recipe book.

that's one reason why barnes and noble is Holy Ground. Hail Barnes and Noble, great carrier of the sacred texts of George R. R. Martin, Tamora Pierce, and Douglas Addams!
but, in all seriousness, George R.R. Martin is a GOD! his books are a literary form of crack!

I'm a technophile too.

I'm limiting my staring at the screen and have the gamma way down for a reason.

I usually wear sun glasses when I'm at the computer. Its too bright to look at the monitor without them.

I ordered my copies of TSB and TSW from a Books-A-Million. The lady who rung them up for me didn't give me any odd looks at all.
Her co-workers however looked as if they were trying to glare me out of the store and into the pews.

I searched for my SB every time I went to Borders and finally I found it. I was ecstatic. It took me around three months to get it, it's really annoying when you go there each week, search the computer and know it's there, but can't find it.

OH I KNOW!! That's how it was with me for a while until I finaly decided to order a copy. The computers always said there was like three copies or something so I would go and turn that whole section upside down and still couldn't find it. rofl

I did too. I went to Borders first, and there was a helpful worker there, and he led me to this small corner in the back called the "black magic" section. It contained two books, none of them TSB. He said it was probably taken and hidden elsewhere in the store so that no one could read it, or stolen and burned. Apparently that happens a lot at that store. I love Oklahoma. stare
So I reserved a copy at Books-A-Million. I went up to the desk and asked for it, and the lady just gave it to me all nice and "have a good day". That was cool, but this woman in line next to me looked me over (I look like I'm nine or ten) and said, quite loudly, "I hurt for what the world is becoming." Same to you, then. So I left and was very happy that I had found it.
