Well, Suika=NaruSaku in a few instances.
First, they both scream LOVEHATE!
NaruSaku IS love-hate, at least, according to Wikipedia, and wiki never lies! (Except when people edit Sasuke's pro. saying "he marries Sakura at the end of the series" or w/e. xD) And Suika is basically considered love-hate, though I haven't seen the love yet. x3 Just a few times where they do something that shows slight "I don't really really hate him/her" moments.
Well, Sakura hits Naruto enough to make up for all of the violence Karin shows, IMO.
Okay, maybe not. ._____.
But Karin and Sakura are both pretty violent! XD

Either way, I really don't see SuiKa as a comparison to any pairing. xD It's so....different from everything else, and thats why it's my favorite pairing.

Debate, discussion.I really don't see a diference.They both start with freaking D's.
I don't really see SuiKa as being different.It's like in the movies, the girl and guy hate each other.Then they get to know more about one another.Then they fall in love.Atually, that only happens in the movies.
No though, the relationship they have isn't rare.It's like how Inuyasha, and Kagome started off.Suigetsu even has the little fang like Inu. D: Though, in my opinion, I doubt SuiKa will fall in love.

Whether it's discussion or debate doesn't matter, does it? There's no rule in this guild against debating, and you didn't state in the first post that debating wasn't allowed. SuiKa doesn't really have anything to debate, so I'm gonna agree with Simone that it was more of a discussion.
And about the movie. XD Well, manga isn't reality, either, is it? I'm not saying it's rare in general. It's actually quite common. But in the series of Naruto you can't find two character that loath each other more, yet hang around all the same. It's different when it comes to Naruto, and it's appealing to me.
As for Inuyasha...well Inuyasha and Kagome and Suigetsu and Karin are TOTALLY different people, with TOTALLY different personalities, and in a TOTALLY different series. I'm not trying to say that it's gonna happen. It's probably not. But it's a great base for a great pairing with amazing potential.

Suigetsu works with Karin because his goal, in his mind, is worth the sacrifice. He had every right to say no to Sasuke, as Karin did. He felt obliged to Sasuke as well, for being saved. I don't mean to sound arrogent, but I really don't see the point here. D: Of course they don't like each other even if they're on the same team. Whether Sasuke's there or not, they already disliked on another. Her crush on Sasuke is just fuel to the fire. She STAYS ON THE TEAM because of Sasuke. Whereas Samehada is Suigetsu's goal, and Karin is a sacrifice, Sasuke is Karin's goal (of what we know), and the sacrifice is Suigetsu.
If if I'M not making a point, I apologize. I'm trying to make a point from your point...which I didn't understand. Why does it have to be anyone's fault? It was simply a debate, there's nothing all that much dramatic in my opinion.
But I'm not going to apologize for doing what I could to defend SuiKa. If I made you feel uncomfortable, well then I'm sorry to hear that.
And Stormy, if this all affected you that much, then I'm not going to PM you at all. I'm not going to try and make you feel "stupid", that not how I roll.

Well then, I'm not going to apologize for expressing my opinion.Just thought it was the proper things to say.If my opinions about SuiKai bothered you that much, then that's too bad for you.I don't "defend" any pairings I like from you, just because it's your opinion.
If you would like, could you please point out the statements that made you have to "defend"?I know my opinions aren't correct (no one's is), so there is no reason to get worked up over it.You just keep on starting things, when I try to end them.
FYI: You don't make me feel stupid.You just bypass what everything I say, and try to prove them wrong and claim your corrct.
Maybe if you told me the statments I made, that caused you to defend SuiKa...Then maybe I could understand.
