If a new season's coming out (if the rumor turns out not to be a rumor), then it would probably feature the next generation eg. Makoto, Gou, and Rin.
If it's still Takao and the others... I dunno, I'm getting a bit tired of them... eek
Okay, never thought I'd say that.
I think I can explain the 8 seasons in Japan. There are only three main seasons (Beyblade, Beyblade 2002, Beyblade G-Revolution). However, each of these can be divided into their story arcs. Beyblade has the Japan Championships arc, then the World Championships arc which overlaps a bit with the Black Dranzer arc - that's 3 arcs.
Then Beyblade 2002 has the Saint Shields/Team Psykick arc, and the Tag Team Tournament arc. That makes for 2 arcs.
And finally, G-Revolution has the World Championships arc, then the BEGA arc. That's another 2 arcs.
Then there's the movie, where Team BBA find out that what they hold are the four Bit Beasts of Light and that these have their Dark counterparts. This is also where viewers are introduced to Sumeragi Daichi.
If we count the movie as a separate season (it takes place after Beyblade 2002, but before G-Revolution), then that makes for a total of eight seasons!
Of course, I could be wrong, but this is what I got from my calculations... xd I'm such a geek...

i can see that. . . thats a lotta math u figured out. . . but i was also told that in the sixth season is when Gou Mokoto and Rin show up, so im at a loss too. .

... I think they could be referring to the final volume in the manga. I have Volumes 2, 4-6, and 14, and I read Volumes 7 to 11 online (I'll start reading Volume 12 soon). Anyway, the manga can be broken down into different story arcs, depending on the storyline behind it. Volumes 1-6 comprise the first two arcs (World Championships, and then Demolition Boys/Biovolt arc). Next, Volumes 7 and the first half of Volume 8 cover the Saint Shields/Team Psykick arc, and then second half of Volume 8 and first chapter of Volume 9 showcase the Zeo/Leon arc (a very short arc, mind you). The rest of Volume 9 all the way 'til Volume 14 cover the fifth arc - the Great Blader Cup, which replaced the World Championships (it's bye-bye BBA, hello G.B.C Corporation in this one). The GBC arc is the longest one so far.
So that's five arcs, right? At the back of Volume 14, there is a special chapter that takes place twenty-five years after the GBC cup, and that's where Makoto and Co. show up. So since the special section has a somewhat separate storyline, it is technically a different arc.
So... there, six seasons to the manga. This doesn't include Daichi's story, though, because it runs parallel to everything else, only two or three volumes behind.
But have you tried checking your sources? I mean, the rumors about eight seasons and Makoto, Gou and Rin showing up in the sixth could be just that: a rumor. Besides, if there were any forthcoming seasons (particularly if they include the mini-blader trio blaugh ), the official [Japanese] site should have news of it. As it is, there aren't any updates as far as new seasons are concerned...
Man, am I a geek, or what? ^^;
