Demon Kagerou Bah, no you don't! Besides, killing him will only make it worse anyway. China will immediately claim their right to find the next one... then go on the hunt for the 15th Dalai Lama... which will only be a toddler... so they can raise him as a puppet. The whole reincarnation gag can be a real b***h sometimes. xp Curses I would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for your meddling kids and that pesky dog of yours. I see, wouldn't China chose the next one after he dies anyway?

China is already suspected of kidnapping the Panchen Lama... which is the Dalai Lama's immediate successor... and would normally take over until the next Dalai Lama is reborn. The kid was like.. 5 years old when he disappeared.... and I think China already appointed their own Panchen Lama.
China just wants to own Tibet, and they don't care who they have to own to get this claim officially acknowledged by the world. Its bad luck for them that their key opponent on this issue is a Buddhist monk. Which is kind of ******** up, because the Dalai Lama has openly supported communist ideals several times in his life. The opposition is because of the way the party and its leaders have behaved. Quite understandable... you don't win a Buddhist monk over by torturing other monks. razz

There harmless, and there message in no bother to me at least. It's the Jews, Christians and Muslims I need to worry about. Being kicked out of your church over disagreements, and being banned from getting married there dosen't look good on someone. Also I meant that in a general sense with the Jews, Christians and Muslims. China wants to own all of Asia, I have no idea why they want Tebet and Tawain so badly.

It's a matter of national pride. I've said it before... China has never not been an empire. And it will behave as one as long as it can get away with it.
Communism only made this tendency worse by giving them a veneer of universal determinism while they go on behaving exactly the way they have for the last some-thousand years.
As long as its about China, it will NEVER be about anything else but China. Hierarchy is an important aspect to Eastern culture. Either you are subordinate to China or China is subordinate to you. To acknowledge that Tibet should rule itself is to say to China that Tibet is an equal to mighty China, even when mighty China conquers it... and that just won't fly.
As much as I love Eastern philosophy and certain elements of the culture... it has a dark side and I know what it can do on a large scale. So I'm also weary.

Yeah China was mainly tribes united into one, and when one lost favor another took over, there was no structure in that terms of handing over control other to family members. Even though the Qin united what is now China, but even today it was still holds tribalisium still in areas. I recall when I went to DC in 2003 a lot Chinese were there to make it known of the treatment they were given, some were a branch of some Buddhist sect, not sure which one. Some were from Tibet and Twain, and wanted congress to help them put pressure on there government to knock it off. I feel bad or them it was quite amazing with the shows they put on. Anyway, from Chinas actions it's looking like Japan in the 1930's, same things as they did. I want you guys to see this my CO gave me this.
