Holy s**t. Sorry just had to say it lol. I love this ep I was like wow and when Dean made the deal with the demon, I was like nooooooooooooooo but Sam is alive lol. but still not good. Umm... I kind of cried at the end cuz what Sam was saying to Dean lol. I was thinking at the end and I thought what happens, I know this is not gonna happen but it's kind of funny but what happens if they keep makeing deals with the demon or whatever lol. And the acting with Jensen Ackles Oh my god he was sooo good. And Jared Padalecki I want him stop crying in every ep cuz when he crys I cry lol. But he did a very good job. I saw Dean just looking at Sam I just wanted to hug him lol.

Hmm.... Well, I'm very conflicted on this episode... *hehe* But I'll be a GOOD little girl and I won't start bagging parts of it until I've seen it at least once more! *nods*
The parts that really made me sit up and take notice....
Dean.... Looking almost as dead as Sammy did, lying on that bed/cot. A total shell... *hehe* Kinda annoying, though, cos it was exactly how so many Codas to Part 1 were written... (that'll teach me... I've learnt my lesson in relation to Codas now... *hehe*)
And poor Jensen! Doing that monologue in front of Sam's corpse... His Texas drawl pouring out... Apart from his inability to keep the drawl out when doing those emotional scenes, I think he nailed it...
(does it blow anyone else's minds to see how far Jensen's come as an actor over the years???)
Oh! And at Bobby's! First, Bobby's face when he sees Sam... Then the whole way he got Dean out into the yard.... And when he got all into Dean's face... asking if he really had such low self-esteem that he'd go and do that... Hold such lack of worth in himself... (yeah, Bobby said it WAY better)
Amanda, as soon as I have my astro assignment handed in, I will help you nut out the transcript for this episode in SO much detail it will make peoples' heads spin! mrgreen )
And lastly, that final scene... It really felt right that Sammy turned around and said that stuff to Dean... Told him how he'll finally be the one to look out for Dean... Ah... ARGH!!! lol
But just one of the tadbits... Not really a grievance (like I said at the start, they'll come up tomorrow after I've re-watched it)... With John... lol. I know a fanfic author who should SO be demanding an acknowledgement of her idea! *hehe*
If you read sardonicsmiley's fic This Pound of Flesh (on lj... It's rated R/NC-17 mostly for violence and gore... And about two chapters with explicit Wincest which is otherwise mostly just an undercurrent of the story) and the sequel The Walking Wounded, you'd see what I mean... She has Dean sent to Hell... And when he returns he has the ability to interact with Demons in much the same way we see John do to the YED...
Anyways, I'll return tomorrow... Because I'm sure I'll be bad and NOT be working on my over-due astrophysics assignment... *sigh*

AAAAAHHHAHAH...awwwwwww......... Transcript eh?! So that'll be like..... a whole...... ONE that we've done?! LMAO! Aww... Your thoughts are pretty much the same as mine.... Jensen was amazing... just... amazing. And that whole "WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO (echo's off)" The third time.... SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!! I coulda bawled my eyes out right there.......

My GOD what a good episode. Man!!!! Poor Dean and Sam!! But it was great how they got to see their father, although I wish he would have like, put his hand on Sam's shoulder too. But that was a crazy episode.

Makes you wonder about season three. Alot of things have been cleared up at this season. John, YED, His plan. So whats for season 3? We can all now savely say John is in a better place(where ever that may be). The YED is dead(Even though I feeling he might be coming back). The plan is the pretty much rule the world type of deal. So I'm just wondering what is left for season three. We got Sam and his powers(that have to develop) I wish they(the writers) would stop delaying Sam's growth in his powers. Then we got the whole Dean has his soul sold. Then we got all those demons that escaped. I'm wondering how they are going to kill them all. Then gun has now finally been used up. The only think I could think of is trap them in a devils trap and then exercise them but wouldnt that get old after like 200 times.
There is alot to compete with especially with first two seasons! Plus. Killing off a character would be kinda old news. John died, Sam died, Dean almost died numberous times. I just hope they have big shockers through out the season cause they are gonna need them.
They did a good job at making the second season way better then the first(even though I like the ending of the first one much better. So dramatic and the cliffy was HUGE). Let's hope they could do it again.

YED is gone. John's off to Heaven to see his wife...
Dean's damned to Hell.... And will no longer have the company of his Daddy if/when he gets there!!! crying *almost imagines Sammy would choose to go with Dean into Hell should he not be able to save Dean by the end of S3...*
All those Demons are now loose... What a mess.... The writers are clearly going to have to come up with new ways to send them back into hell....
Those ghost-like people.... Like John was... Before he materialised into his own form again... I wonder if they were all people who went into Hell... Interesting, no? To see so many PEOPLE in there??? Clawing their way out???
I agree, S1 finished way better... Cliffhanger was awesome. S3 was set up with the possibility of not getting re-newed in mind... But it's got a set-up for what could be an even better season! Kripke had said the YED was a 2-season story arc... That they had other things planned for the further seasons they may get... So... Well, I'm just going to wait and see! smile

This whole episode was filled with me just sitting there, slack-jawed, and crying. Jensen has seriously grown in his acting skills. I recently rewatched a bunch of Dark Angel while that was good (I love Alec's attitude, even though I have grievances with that show) he has become so good at what he does. . .It is NOT every actor/actress that can reduce me to crying along with them. Jensen was able to do it. Jared? This episode wasn't as kind to Paddywhack but I do like him as well as an actor. Sam hasn't done much except brood for a lot of this season so hopefully S3 will let him explore his emotions a bit.
I did yell at my tv though when Dean made that deal. It was one of those "I can't believe he's doing that!. . . .oh, wait. No, yeah I can, because Dean loves Sammy and would do anything for him." Even if wincest isn't your thing, I think everyone can agree that those two would do anything for each other. Especially since they've both said it now at least a couple of times. . .
I'm not very coherent right now or specific about my favorite parts because I'm still at work and don't really need to be on this site posting. sweatdrop
