lol starting a religion is cool, its kinda like a gang in a way...i dunno, dont mind me, im exausted so i cant guarentee that i will give you my full brilliance...but yea, religion is kinda like a gang, theres your "God" and then theres your head of the gang...then theres the minions that do all the gangleader's work...."God" does the same....

She used to be an elf and Tal's elder sister, and then she died, and Sauron did something and she's alive and evil. O_O Funnily enough, her name is Elvish, which burns Sauron's ears. He prefers the Black Speech, which burns Elves' ears. So with Tokala [an Elf being held captive], Sauron, and Ngurethos in a room trying to have a conversation, it was very interesting. Ngurethos got to be the traslator, she was NOT happy. Yeah, I RPed Sauron. God, that was FUN. xd

I believe at one point I actually DID laugh out loud.
I would say eliminate the books but then how would the "word" be spread? You need a basic erm, guide that details who, what, when , where, why all that jazz. As for the edited list *insert thumbs up emoticon here*
You know if I am not mistaken, if you are here in the US and could convince enough people to join your religion that would then entitle you to the rights of the religion through the law - erm within reason as I am sure they don't allow I murdered a ignorant person for the God Of Intelligence as a valid means of getting out of the law-
Where do you stand with this still full fledge on it or was it one of those I am bored lets do this then forget about it the next day type things?

I'm probably going to go with the latter of the two. Haven't thought about it in weeks xd
Unless I really should do it... just to spite the state of Kansas. They're screwed up like that, they would have to teach it in their science classes as an alternative to evolution. biggrin

Oh oh oh, I had a light bulb moment xd That makes me think of the people that are religious only because of their fears. Their religion answers questions and makes them feel all warm and smooshy about things that we as humans can not explain, and and and the fear of what "could" happen to them... So off topic here.

Exactly! That's one of the reasons (too many to count) that many organized religions annoy me; they just preach about going to heaven and make you feel all warm and speshul (yes, I purposely misspelled that) inside rather than focusing on good morals and just being a good person.

Ptolemifrit I'm half greek and I'll tell you not to use the Greek gods as an influence. They were petty and self centered, acting like middleschoolers. Maybe you should go with something more based on spirits in general. Btw, why are you starting a new religion? *monotone voice* The Romans failed to establish a lasting religion due to its polytheistic nature and inconsistent Gods. No seriously, religions with one God fared much better as far as conversions. My friends actually did something like this. rofl Except they are the Gods.

Looks like a good plan to me. Speaking of which, me and one of my friends are starting up Jenova's Witnesses. I know it's already kinda existed, but no one's formally started it yet. We're going to go preaching on Halloweens, have our own .tk website (though my FTP's being a b***h), and hell, we also worship metal. FF VII AND METAL WORSHIP! It's win on a stick. To top it off, my codename is "That Insecure Slut." It's awesome. We also have a c4 Guy. Skizio My friends actually did something like this. rofl Except they are the Gods. Are you, by chance, talking about us Nipists? Roflmao!
