The energy being withdrawn from the beast over the course of those several days surpassed even the strongest ninja in history and it was all to be put into a single being. "I've understood your message kage sama and I now know what i must do." mumbled Kobu to himself as he prepared the chakra containment device for transportation to the Otokage's office with himself and the most elite ANBU as it's couriers.

Having successfully evaded the guards Kobu places Kagemaru's body upon his working table and starts his work. First Kobu dyes Kagemaru's hair blond while keeping him asleep with the constant infusion of chakra. Then Kobu dresses Kagemaru in an old Akatsuki cloak he had recovered from his visit to their old headquarters, all the while this is happening Kobu uses his brainwashing technique to have Kagemaru forget all but his battle techniques and forcing him to subliminally listen to sound recordings telling him of who he is and what he must do. "my dear friend your idea was perfect and being so it should be you who is the distraction I need to continue my work." whispered Kobu. After all of the preperations were made Kobu removed the machines and let Kagemaru rest, for the next day he would be the Akatsuki leader and Kobu would take his place as Otokage since poor Kagemaru was the victim of a kidnapping attempt by Rain or so people would think.
