I cant really choose, both of them are surprisingly different. Like Morrowind was not as customizable as Oblivion, but Morrowind had a longer and more complex story. Oblivion was great but was all action and no story. I disliked it's lack of difficulty.

Like others have said, they both have their strengths and weaknesses. Morrowind offered more freedom in a lot of ways, but Oblivion just oozes with more quality and production value. I love 'em both. biggrin

I enjoy Morrowind more simply because of the more unique world. Oblivion seems to stick with more common fantasy, but Morrowind made their own creatures and the like. Sure, you still have the Daedra, but they've been in every game.

Gameplay obviously goes to Oblivion - but that isn't fair. The worldscape goes to Morrowind in my book. Cyrodiil just reeks of the 'general variety' RPG world.

Indeed.
The leveling system in Oblivion makes it way more simple, but not too simple.
Your skill in Oblivion only affects the amount of damage you do. In Morrowind, your skill affects your chances to hit. Which is vastly annoying.
Personally, I prefer Morrowind. There's a lot more to loot. twisted

I guess I like morrowind more. simply because there was always this sense of
"Wow where the ******** am I and what the ******** is that!" going on lol.
But there were things in Oblivion that I wish were in morrowind.Like the combat system for instance it was REALLY hard to hit anything -.- and bing a vampire was kinda dumb on morrowind. although i do miss being a werwolf. and the bloodmoon expansion in general.
Solsthiem was awesome!
