When Kirokina smiled, Alex stopped his walking and gazed at her. He smiled at her with a smile that held a great deal of warmth...
"You know something, you're very cute when you smile."
Alex turned to keep walking when a thought occured to him. He quickly went over to Kirokina and took her hand in his.
"I just remembered a great spot on the grounds. Come on, I'll show you."
Before Kirokina had a chance to repsond, the two vanished from the library...

Aideki had been thinking much, thinking about the past, the present, and the future. Her thoughts kept out the hissing voice of 'it' that wandered her soul, and she had all but forgotten 'its' presence. She had given long glances around the library, even getting up for a stroll through the many tall aisles. She was hoping that perhaps she'd be able to find something on piracy and the legends there of. But she didnt look much before she found herself back upon the sofa...thinking...thinking. Her mind soon began to hurt, and her red eyes soon began to grow heavy, and in a few moments she had fallen into sleep, laying outstretched upon the sofa as dreamland came to her: vivid, alive, and all too real.

She was lingering in that place between reality and sleep, the place where everything is just real enough to grasp, and yet far enough to know that you have the power to open your eyes. In this state, Aideki clung to the side of a ship as it rolled up and down on torrent waves, heavy rain battering the deck as huge sudden sprays from the ocean obscured her view. Her body then slipped from off the side of the sofa she rested upon and she awoke with a sudden and forced start, finding herself upon the floor. Sweat was just forming on her face as her breath slowled, and she began to regain herself. The dream, or nightmare, jostled her a bit and after finding her scattered senses, she got to her feet and looked about. The library was sitll silent, still, and vast, though off in the far corners she could still hear the deafening noise of the roaring waves smashing violently against the side of her ship.

Many thoughts bombarded her brain and she set her head in her palms, her booted feet set upon the floor as she sat upon the sofa. Was this it? Was she ever going to find what she was looking for? The voice that tainted her mind lingered near, hissing incoherently in her brain and annoying her greatly. His silent voice seemed all the loud against the pure silence of the library. Needing something to do, somewhere to go, she quickly got to her feet and left the library. She had to get her mind off of these thoughts and on better things.

Her eyes widened when she saw the many books and scrolls, and what the place looked like. A smile slowly creaps up on her lips, her skin stretching a bit from the lack of smiling. Immediantly she rolls her fingers over the spines of the worn books, almost laughing with joy. One catches her intrest and she pulls it out, sitting down in the spot where she stood, and begins to read it.

..Sasha had made her home in this dust-filled library for the past few months...poring over scrolls and texts in hopes of trying to strengthen her magic, and knowledge about useful herbs and such..since she had left home she hadn't had much time for studying..and Cole's library offered a great opportunity to catch up...whizzing by on the ladder she looked for useful books..she caught sight of something interesting...she carefully pulled out the book..dusting off the cobwebs from the tattered leather binding...amazingly the writing was in her native language..it was labeled:"Cetra: A lost civilization"...she came down carefully placing it on the the desk...and began reading.....

Cole entered the library and looked around. Everything looked the same as he had left it. Smiling to himself, Cole walked over to where his writing desk was and sat down. Staring down at a worn leather tome, Cole slowly opened it and turned to the last page he had written in. Taking up his quill pen once more, Cole continued to write down his past...

Dyanel felt the familiar aura return to the pagoda. She looked about trying to see if Cole was in sight. He wasn't and Dyanel focused and found him in the library. She smirked and disappeared, reappearing inside the library. Cheebs appeared next to her glaring.
"next ti-" he was cut off by Dyanel covering his mouth and stuffing him into her pocket.
"You're finally back," Dyanel said crossing her arms and tapping her foot impatiently.

The quill in Cole's hand stopped moving as he looked over his shoulder at Dyanel. He smiled at her; it was good to see his the people he concidered his family once more.
"It's nice to be back. It's good to see you again Dyanel. How have things been since I've been away."
By now, Cole had placed the quill pen back in its ink well and had turned to look at Dyanel.

Cheebs wriggled out of Dyanel's pocket and flapped up with his front paws up glaring at Dyanel.
"That was not very nice at all," he said.
Dyanel looked passed Cheebs and at Cole. With a smile she said. "Cole, I'd like you to meet Cheebs, the keros I rescued long ago," Dyanel said turning Cheebs around.
Cheebs stood in the air looking at Cole. He felt very tiny compared to him. He floated over and landed on Dyanel's shoulder.
"I don't like him, he scares me," Cheebs whispered in her ear.
Dyanel looked at Cheebs with a slight glare. She then rolled her eyes.
"Keros don't take to Incubuses very well," Dyanel said to Cole with a half smile. "Other than that... um yet again I'm single, pagoda in tip top shape, I didn't burn anything down. No one has died and that's pretty much all I can think of at the moment," she answered crossing her arms as she stood there.

Cole smiled as he heard Dyanel's report. a slight pang hit his heart when Dyanel mentioned she was single again. Cole had been hoping that she had finally found someone to call her own. Getting up, Cole walked over to Dyanel and gave her a hug then placed a hand on her free shoulder.
"I'm glad that I left the pagoda in safe hands. I know you've probably gotten over it already in your own way, but I'm sorry to hear that you're single once more, but like I've always said, I'm sure that someday you will find someone. You can't be a lone wolf forever."
As Cole spoke, he felt a little strange saying all this to Dyanel. He too was once more alone, his lone wolf remark came from a name he had given himself after his elven wife had died, The Eternal Lone Wolf. Smiling a soft smile, Cole returned to his desk and sat down.
"It's a kinda funny, you and I always seem to be alone, and yet we're almost always surrounded by people. Seems like the cosmos is playing a cruel joke on us... that, or the fates are assholes, I'm not quite sure which one yet... Oh, by the way, on my journey with Hikari, I was granted mortality for a short while."

Dyanel's eyes went wide then they quickly turned to a bit of jealousy.
"Of course you get all the fun," she said with a hint of tease in her voice.
She sighed looking around the library. "You know I've only been in here once. It's a lot more organized than that other time," she said with a bit of interest.

Cole looked around a bit confused. To his eyes, this was still the library as he remembered it. Dusty tomes lining shelves, scrolls, maps and other book all over the place. It looked like controlled chaos...
"Does it really? Looks the same to me..."

Dyanel looked at Cole with a raised eyebrow. She shook her head.
"We could go back to an old village that's all city like and you'd still say it looks the same to you," Dyanel remarked with a smirk played across her face.

A small laugh escaped Cole's lips as he looked at Dyanel. She had a point, to Cole, almost everything looked the same to him within the pagoda.
"Maybe... I'm really glad I'm back, I missed my home and my new family. Anyways, other then you being single again, anything else happen to you while I was away?"
