Amylin If your looking for a good fighting game then yes... it is a TERRIBLE fighting game. But it has FFVII characters so that makes it all better. twisted Isn't terrible, besides it's RPG makes help out to.

I think he does. (I don't own the game) But someone posted a clip of him doing Meteor Rain so he does use his sword to some extent.

Due to Final Fantasy's Anniversary passing - they're unleashing a ton of FF games.
There's a PSP game that was coming out (may already be out) that was very close to this idea: All the FF characters showing up and kicking a**.
Anyone know what happened to it?
I'll go looking in my information if needed...but I'm lazy...

Final Fantasy Dissidia. I'm totally getting that game. biggrin
They have a few trailers out already so it should be coming soon I believe.

Aside from that game, I'm just waiting for Square to save face after Dirge of Cerberus and remake VII already - I mean honestly - do they need a bigger fan base?

I was more impressed by the fact that they brought in some of the old main characters from the first Final Fantasies. biggrin I think they have the main dude from Final Fantasy II in there, Firion. whee

Yup yup. It's basically the main baddies and heroes from their respective games, or could be considered main. There are some FF6 characters apparently missing, (ie, TERRA or CELES from 6, who could have been considered more of the main character) but we'll forego that horribleness for now because I have bitter feelings that there are no female lead characters shown in the trailers, minus Ultimecia and Dark Cloud, who are villains anyway and old. Blah.
It's coming out for PSP in mid 2009 (?) I think, and omfg it looks so pretty, especially with Tidus and Zidane, all time favorite male leads. YAY!!

It's the sadest thing when...My sister was so mad when they put Ultimacia in Dissidia instead of Seifer. rofl Angels fly away...
