Bryn McCardell SgtElias Phoenix_Blue I liked the Buffy ending...Spike was a HERO...way to go!!! xd The Angel ending was both saddening and yet kind of uplifting or something ya know because they weren't giving up! Oh, and did anyone else hear that they were considering Buffy and Angel made for tv movies? That would be kind of cool.... (I read about this in a magizine) Yeah, that, and, everyone has probably already heard, but they're doing an animated show with the original voice actors (except Gellar) and also doing a show called "Ripper" about Giles. That one, however, is on the shelf. No, they're still working on it. But Joss Whedon is sort of bogged down with the "Serenity" movie. I have GOT to see Firefly. I read about the animated show in a Buffy magazine, but I thought they started it and it was cancelled or they just decided not to do it.

And I hope I understand you right, because if not, I'm about to make an idiot of myself. Okay, the Serenity movie is the movie that they're making about Firefly. It's scheduled to come out in, oh, September 2005, I think. I know nothing about it, having not seen the original show, so I can't do much for you. However, the sight www.buffy.nu has updates all the time. Just look for the stuff that says in paranthesies "Serenity news" or whatever. That's all I've got for you. cry

However, I trust the talented Mr. Whedon. If he says it happened, it happened.

I guess it does sound a bit cliche ...Spike coming back as a ghost and all... but it all works out pretty well I think. And well in the whole of the Buffyverse Spike is my favorite so I loved how his character is continued.

And he already brought Angel and Darla back at least once. Jesus. Although, since it keeps Spike in the show. . . *huggles the Nerds to simplify things*

I know I'm the only person here that likes Angel more then Buffy, but I defenitely think you should give it a chance, as cliche as it sounds. (And Spike coming back as a ghostie has it's reasons.. prophecies, yo.)

Actually, I like Angel more than Buffy as well, not by much, and, of course, excepting the nerdiliscious parts ( heart Troika heart ). And gods, there's a prophesy for EVERYTHING. But that's okay. *shrugs*

I thought the Buffy finale was great. The world was saved and all the storylines had closure. All in all, it was a good day.
Angel, however, is another story. I was very displeased with it. I like closure, and I'm sorry, but there was just way too many unanswered questions. It's ok to go out with a cliffhanger, but not in the last ever episode. Are we to assume that everyone died? Were two vampires, a demon-y thing, and a human barely clinging onto life adequate enough to take on the whole of the senior partners? What about the Shanshu prophecy? Was Angel's only hope for four long years really just whisked away with the flick of a pen? Grr argh! It all just really bugs me.

That's actually the reason I really liked the ending.. lots of cliffhanging suspense.. ness. whee
