We should tweak communism. Communism was made for an older society, and society has changed. The world has changed, and communism will no longer work for our modern world. We should revise a couple things to make it work with the new century.
Another idea for the website is, many of the people in our guild have many different political beliefs. So we should have sections/links that will be dedicated to that perticular ideal.

Marxist_Revolution_Now We should tweak communism. Communism was made for an older society, and society has changed. The world has changed, and communism will no longer work for our modern world. Just curious, because I think that Marxist ideas are relevant today moreso than ever.

Just curious, because I think that Marxist ideas are relevant today moreso than ever. well when i've talked to people, they've always said their is no way that anyone is going to take away all of their things such as their house or cars. and to make everything equal we would have to do that, plus we'd have to make everything the same. which I and others like individuality, and for everything to be equal. we'd have to make everything the same. plus we'd have to take away most of the new technology or give everyone one of everything. so we'd have to change it and sent up some kind of money thing.

Year ago countless thousands working for one man just to advance his own Capital gains was unheard of. I started one but you guys confined yourself to a large argument in an introduction/who this is thread which I will admit annoyed me a bit.... I'm sorry!! I tried! crying

We're putting out a newsletter from the GCP comrades, if anyone would like to contribute just check out the thread in the GCP (click my sig), that's our part to aid the cause on a larger scale, some of us are printing out copies and distributing them In Real Life and we're trying to get subscribers on Gaia. I have no idea what the NCS is doing, the website you guys made didn't make it, but trying again wouldn't hurt eh? Clearing it out is what I mean, just starting over and publicising a bit better.

We're putting out a newsletter from the GCP comrades, if anyone would like to contribute just check out the thread in the GCP (click my sig), that's our part to aid the cause on a larger scale, some of us are printing out copies and distributing them In Real Life and we're trying to get subscribers on Gaia. I have no idea what the NCS is doing, the website you guys made didn't make it, but trying again wouldn't hurt eh? Clearing it out is what I mean, just starting over and publicising a bit better. We've tried it twice actually. The only reason I didn't wish to revive the first one is that Spam bots viciously attacked it. I'll make another thread or something if I get around to it.

My side project RS is eating up time with studying the local politics and seeing who kisses whose a**.... -_- Also looking over the town budget is like .... @_@ Town meeting time was also a pain... I still havent read through it.... but I will finish soon..... Oh by the way my election was the strongest... I won for local representative for part of my district for our local town meetings (we have representative annual town meetings) I had the most votes out of all other representatives in the entire town woot!!!! now its time to play the waiting game........... RS will soon rise...... Could always use the help on symbols and making the symbol look better ^.^

We of course are not speaking of bourgeoise democracy, but of proletarian democracy, which is in fact more "democratic." In current bourgeoise democracy, one's material position in life determines one's political power, etc. Also people of lower social classes are not given the opportunities for education, etc., and tend to have lower polling turnouts. This is not democracy, where politicians can be bought and sold by corporations, etc, you know the drill. In a true proletarian democracy, every person would truly be considered as an equal. Administrators during the time of the dictatorship of the proletariat would have no greater personal benefits than anyone else in society, and could be removed at will.

"true" proletarian democracy is the rise of materailism over idealism and the proletarain dictatorship of ideology which democratic centralism does infact create. Who will the representatives come from? What form of communism to begin with for we can go with a Federal approach with council communism but then again we can go with a more Unitarian form of communism which most of the worlds governments go by. Lower social classes depending on cultural relativity......

Could always use the help on symbols and making the symbol look better ^.^ That sounds like my town though the budget is high due to wasteful spending and the dam town officials keep increasing their pay raises every tie. Glade you got in, all my town spots are taken by rich people that buy off votes, so getting in is hard because the fact people don't vote or are to vote is another problem.
