Wrong thread, people! wink blaugh Anyway, I agree with whoever said Saturos. That battle takes me forever... probably because I'm usually only level 10 and can't be bothered to train... wink

Hardest would have to be Menardi the first time you encounter them. Saturos can be taken out, but its hard as hell, thank god for my lucky 5 criticals in a row. sweatdrop But Menardi's death scythe thingymajigwhatchamacallit is THE most annoying mover ever scream

Cowpuppy If you bring TLA into it, I can't really say what the hardest was. I beat Dullahan with level 36 characters in 4 turns (not the individual character's turn, the entire party's turn), but I had a super-happy-fun strategy I found in a random walkthrough somewhere. @%#^%$&*^%^#%$&^%*(&)* IT TOOK ME 2 FULL HOURS TO BEAT THAT GUY!!!!!!! stressed stressed eek 4 turns....omg....how did you do that? surprised eek

Argenti Metalla It really depends on what level your characters are and what items they have equipped. If you visited the Venus lighthouse before Deadbeard and got the hidden equipment there ie: Feathered Robe, Gaia Blade, kikuichimonji, etc etc; then Deadbeard was not so hard. Otherwise the hardest boss in my opinion was Saturos at the Mercury Lighthouse. I'd say Saturos at Mercury Lighthouse has got my vote, because that's fairly early in the game - not enough time to level up and buy the good weapons, so it's harder then when you get to the Venus Lighthouse, a good deal into the game. When it comes down to how hard it really is, the combonation of Saturos and Menardi, then the Doom Dragon directly after with no time to heal, is the hardest.

Yup. That's how I did it, found it in a walkthrough. Admittedly, if I hadn't found the walkthrough, I wouldn't have even known about Dullahan. sweatdrop

I went to Tret first, so I was strong enough to beat him. It may seem a little like going out of the way - getting Mia then beating Tret then going BACK to beat Saturos - but I find it easier, and it only takes about 10-20 minutes extra. Or less.

It does. Tret is really annoying without Mia, and you end up being having higher levels if you get her, beat Tret, then go back to Mercury Lighthouse.

The simple fact that the forest is there is hint enough! I mean, why avoid the forest? A potential playground for new items, magic, djinn and a slewth of items!Sure, it may be difficult, but thats nothing to the hardness of fighting Saturos at a measly little level! Possibly 9 or 10 if you are lazy. And that's if you 'attempt' to level! You know, the only reason I'm typing so much is because I'm getting no gold for my other posts for some strange reason. So, I assume that this will be worth at LEAST 10 gold. xd
