The first one I ever read was Going Postal, I had read Good Omens previously (Pratchett's joint venture with Neil Gaiman) but I had no idea what I was in for, I was hooked instantly. Next I read Monstrous Regiment Night Watch Small Gods Guards! Guards! The Color of Magic Mort Reaper Man The Truth and finally... Men At Arms
they're like crack... you just can't stop!

My first Pratchett was Mort and it will always hold a special place in my heart along with Death.

The first one I read was Mort, too. Then I proceeded to read all the Death books, then all the Witch books, then the rest. I came into Pterry late (if you can call seven years ago "late" xd ), so I only caught up with them when Going Postal came out, so that's my first hardback.

I'm not sure...that was a long time ago! But the first one I really remember is Guards! Guards! (This was about fifteen years ago, when you couldn't find Discworld books in the bookstore...a friend in my Army band had some he'd gotten in England.) I wanted to read it again, and it took forever (well, it seemed like forever) for them to publish it in the US so I could read it again.
I just loved the secret society, and the return of Sam Vimes to the place where he cared again. And Carrot, of course...who can resist a 6-foot dwarf! It's still one of my favorites.

The first Pratchett book I read was Color of Magic over a decade ago. Then I read all of the rest of the books in my aunt's collection and then started buying every Pratchett book as soon as I could get my hands on them. I've read every bit of Pratchett that I have been able to find including Carpet People and The Dark Side of the Sun.

My first Disc World book was The Colour of Magic. It was part of a Rincewind the Wizzard Omnibus edition. I have gone on to read every one of the disc world novels multiple times. I have also read The Bromeliad Trilogy, The Carpet People, The Dark Side of the Sun, Good Omens(with Neil Gaiman), and The Unadulterated Cat.
