Ohh my lord. The answer to this question is in the sequel. If anyone has seen it they would know that The woman that is infected but not showing symptoms or whatever kisses her husband, who becomes infected. He then kills her and goes on to kill others. (It's in white for people who haven't seen the sequel)
Sorry. I get into the "debates" a little too much.

THEY DON'T EAT YOU, they bite you.
And that's how they get their lunch or whatever.

THEY DON'T EAT YOU, they bite you.
And that's how they get their lunch or whatever.
Once you're bitten, you're infected.

Not lunch. They don't eat. And if they did swallow the little chunk that thy take out of their victims, it would provide little to no nutrition, so they'd still die from starvation.

Oh, there's also a new Romero movie (Diary of the Dead) due to be out this year or next.

I saw that the day it first came out...it was so scary I had my popcorn bucket in front of my face lke the whole time
