thinkinghurts42 Seeing as how most of the commotion is at the actual dig site, Nahuel will make his way over to one to the dig's leads. As Nahuel makes his way to the site he glances towards a strange crack and path that seem to have gone largely unnoticed, a bit curious. Considering that the people seem unharmed, and he is not any sort of an archaeologist, Naheul is unsure how to respond to the dig's collapse. Nonetheless, once there he asks if there is anything in particular that can be done to help out right now. The lead says they'll be alright, the other guards should handle anything that comes up, but a few others are going to investige the volcano to see if the area is unstable. He points in the direction that Destiny bolted off in and Corin is currently heading. (woot first on page 2!)

"I mearly do as the fates command. This path was not opened by mere chance. I was not sent here by mere chance. There fore I must travel this path. Come along if you wish. Hey "Battle Axe" wait up. Im not quite that fast. I know your egar however we should not take things too quickly. Another quake might hit while were makeing our way up the trail. If you want I can take point and keep my eyes out for danger. And who knows what we might find in these here mountains. Should we find trouble your strength will be needed. And should someone try to ambush us, wouldnt you like to have the joy of being able to shove that axe into the skull of an ambusher who's ambush backfired?"
Corin then attempts to take the lead following the path, and detecting evil as he leads.

Jade came up behind the rest of the group and followed along. "this should be interesting." he said as he looked back at the others before following along.

You all follow the path threw a small but dense forest. The closer the path gets to the volcano the harder it is to follow, you'd have lost it a few times if not for the small fault line crack. After a good full day's hike a few hours before sunset at the very foot of the mountian hidden by rocks and forest is a cave, with a dead man in front of it. The man lays in front of the cave, he is about the size of a galleon ship, and is in a later stage of decomposing, despite this there is not stench of death even when next to him. A gargantuan sized halberd lays beside him on the ground but there is no signs of any struggle. The small fault line crack runs straight into the cave.

Nahuel gladly lets Corin take the lead since he seems so eager, but keeps an eye out for anything that may pose a problem, halfway expecting an aftershock but hoping against it...
While making sure his sack is secure on his back, and falling in line behind the others, he says jokingly to Jade, "sleep well?"
(looks like I hit reply and waited a while longer than I thought to do so (like 15 minutes), your post hadn't been there when I clicked reply... oh well... this post is just a tad out of place)

(ok this post is NOT going to be out of place...)
Upon reaching the dead "man" Nahuel says, "well, this is a bit out of the ordinary..." He walks around the body searching for any clues as to what had happened when he died since there were no immediate signs... (search-20+2=22)

(search-20+2=22) Due to decay you can't seem to find anything as to cause of death, but you notice a millennium's worth of papers inside the titan's pockets, and scattered around nearby, that have been rutted through and torn, ripped, etc by animals and looters. Each in tack sheet is about the size of a medium ship sail, the have some writing on them that you can't identify right away.

Detect Evil on the cave.
Corin then walks up to the body and says a quick prayer for the dead.

Narsyssa Detect Evil on the cave. Corin then walks up to the body and says a quick prayer for the dead. You detect nothing, but something about the cave just doesn't feel right.

After examining the body, Nahuel says, "Wow, a bit odd that something like doesn't smell... Not that I'm complaining of course... "
After Destiny offers to figure out the writing, "Good luck reading that, The characters are the size of your head, though if you do know giant, you're better of trying than I am."
