Amen. Her work is... all that I could ever want to read. It's full of everything disgusting and wacked up.

However, I've only read Drawing Blood and Lost Souls, and I have only got half way through Lost Souls. Drawing Blood was amazing and I'm pretty sure I read it in a day or two. It was a wonderful book but the ending... omfg. THE ENDING. It was a WTF ending. smile

I've never read any, or heard of any, but vampires are awesome, so I'd like to, when I finish the 50 books that I currently have out of the library.

Michael Schiefelbein has some good Vampire GLBT books. I've only Vampire Transgression by him but I really want to read the rest if I can find them.

I read a gay vampire detectivy type story recently, but I can't remember what it's called or who it's by, just that it was great fun. I'll find out what it's called and post it here, because it was amazing.

It wasn't "Murder in the Post" or something similar, was it? Takes place in an English village? American vampire?

On the other side of the spectrum... has anyone here read Le Fanu's Carmilla? I just heard about it recently, and I'm really curious about it. I haven't had a chance to go to the bookstore in a while, though. sad It's about a female vampire, Carmilla, and her female victim. Supposedly, it inspired both Dracula and The Turn of the Screw.
