The staff would contact with a loud thud, but seemingly stopped the second it hit Gasten. While Aaron may have worked some practical magic, he would be no match for Gasten's training. He had simply applied the exact same amount of force, onto the tip of his staff.
Gasten's hand would now sharply pull back, most likely bringing Aaron towards him, and gave him a hug.

"Now, friend, what do you really think you can do to me?"

Gasten let go, and without even saying a word, force magic would barrel against, or through, Aaron's chest. Strong enough to punch a hole in a normal person, but Aaron would probably do something, wouldn't he?

Gasten stood there, smiling.

"Come on, Aaron! Give it your best shot!"

At this yell, it seemed a beast was talking for him, heavy roars and growls all being woven to articulate this sentence. He thrust his arms wide and into the sky, baring his chest. The tattered coat with tails was the same since Their last encounter and meeting in Bastion.

((MS word being weird, sorry for typos))

Gaston let go, and Aaron acted. The force magic was expected, and Aaron simply cast a sheild that relfected it towards a shoe store. Aaron moved away from Gaston ,put his staff up, and pressed a small button on it. As quick as flash a strange bule foam came forth from the tip of the staff in a stream, and it all moved to the spot where his staff had made contact seconds before. Even if Gaston could move, the foam would follow him, untill it was destoryed or untill it reached its target. And the former was unlikely, as this foam had been made for Gaston. Each inch of the foam seemed to weigh as much as a small city. But that wasn't the best part. It's anti magic was. No known magic seemed to be able to effect this foam. Sadly, it was far from perfect. After it hardens (which is three secs after countact) it has but 5 minutes before it turned into water. Aaron intened to spay this foam untill Gaston was covered. Once inside, Aaron would be unable to move, harf or in anyway affect Gaston, but that was not his intent. Rather, the surviors, who at this time were still running around like crazy, all be it far from Gaston and Aaron, needed to be placed in a safe area. Gaston plan called for blood. Aaron intended to take that blood away.

The foam began, and flung itself directly onto Gasten's torso, and a loud scream erupted. A loud crunching noise would follow it, as his hips thudded to the ground. Slowly, many of the effects currently being enacted on the populace ground to a halt, as Gasten began pumping energy into the act of raising himself. He slowly stumbled towards Aaron.
"Now that wasn't very k-kind, now was it?"
One femur was obviously dis-located, and the rest of the leg wasn't any better off. He limped towards Aaron, the foam still collecting on him, slowing his already slow progress. He began grabbing at the foam in an attempt to rip off the damn foam, putting large amounts of energy converting into strength in his ********, noticed a problem, fixed.))

Rather then spend time worrying about Gaston, Aaron moved on releaseing the button. He was after all, here for more than one reason.

"Everyone listen to me!" He screamed in a voice that demanded attention.

"If you stay here, you will die. Period. So, unless you wish for death, I suggest you head for the escape doors. Please be carefull as you leave, as you will still be in danger."

With that he turned back to Gaston, hopeing he had been unable to spill enough blood.

((Does the foam solidify on contact, or stay in it's liquidy form?))

((Alright.))
Gasten continued ripping the chunks off as more foam flew at him, the last of it covering his chest and part of his right arm. He dropped onto the ground shoulder first, and another sickening crack was heard. Gasten continued hammering and prying away at it with his other fist, and quickly had pulverized most of it off of him. His own blood was now covering the foam, from his fist, and the floor, from the amount he was coughing up. Before standing, he spoke a few Latin words, and his blood seemed to leap up and dance, directly towards Pax. If it touched him, it would begin to find any pore or opening it could go through to get inside his body. Gasten slowly stood up, shakily.

The blood hit Aaron on the suit, and began heading towards his face, the only part of his body that was really uncovered. He tossed his jacket to the ground backed away and began chanting. He was attempting a spell that was know as blood storm, which would hopefully spell the end of this fight.

Gasten scoffed at Aaron.
"Childish--sh."

He held his hand out, and the blood continued nearing him, but this time, stopping before touching him. A strange sound emitted from Gasten's mouth, now. Not a usual command word, but a bestial hiss. His blood seemed to tense and vibrate at the sound of it, and force magic began to pour out of it, all angled at Aaron. It would, if not fully absorbed or deflected, knock him back into a CarShack! brand store.

Meanwhile, Gasten seemed to be focused elsewhere. Directly after uttering the bestial Hiss, he began to chant himself. As he did so, large black sinews would erupt in the exit ways, causing fright in the mob. Their screams began to deafen again, as Gasten seemed to be recovering. The black strings spanned from wall to wall within the passages, and began blocking off more and more surface area.

Aaron took the hit and flew back towards the car store, still chanting.
He watched the people from the corners of his eyes as he flew and moved his left hand up in a quick motion. For a moment this seemed to have no effect, but after the short delay, a very large hole appered at the far side of the mall, opening into the catacomes(SP). People rushed towards it fearing it to would close up. Aaron hit a tire display, but never stoped chanting, riseing to his feet and wipeing away a small amount of blood coming from his mouth.

((It's fairly large. Unless you had anything to do other than chanting, I think it works. If you want to interrupt it, you can, and you can add two turns onto your spell charge.))

Gasten turned towards Aaron, stone faced. The people, surprisingly, were allowed to run. Gasten held his face in a hand and chuckled.
"You win, I guess. After all, your research said that I needed at least twenty thousand people. There goes five out of the twenty two in this mall. Too bad for me, eh?"
Gasten began walking towards Aaron. With each step, his strides got a bit larger, and the limp slowly faded. The blood also followed, and began surrounding Aaron once more, creeping along the ground.
"That would be the case, by your research. However, my field research found some very interesting facts. Ways that this amount of blood could be lessened to the mere price of around five hundred bodies. For it's not the price that they pay for what you are doing to them, Aaron, but it's the price that you pay for what you have done. It's the pieces of you that you kill that make this what it is."
At that, the blood had completely surrounded Aaron, and began weaving itself into a tightly knit pattern. It began to mingle, just slightly, with Aaron's blood.
"Just one of the few things your idiots overlooked. That, and the true meaning, the true capacity for blood magic."
The blood would now seem to pull at Aaron's body, almost ripping it downwards as it tugged at his blood. The most likely outcome causing collapse, or at least bringing him to his knees.
PostPosted: Sun Jun 24, 2007 11:26 pm

((Wait, your post is confusing, not the actions but the words. I think your trying to explain that you don't need 20000, saying you have blood from "better" bodies? amirite? If no explain. I are confused.))

Aaron fell to his knees. He put forth a minor counterspell, but apart from stoping him from falling flat right there it did little. He heard Gaston but barely understood him. His world right now was the spell. "It will work, if I can cast it." he thought

Gasten walked over as Aaron continued muttering the incantation. He shot out his hand towards Aaron's arm. Mainly to see just how focused this man would be. If he got hold of it, which he probably would, he would wrench the arm upwards with terrific force, Easily ripping it from the cartilage, sinew and skin.

Aaron felt his arm seperate from his body, and it was rather painfull. He was surprised, and lost his place for a moment, but it did not matter.

His spell was ready.

His eyeys glowed red for a moment. He quickly tore his shirt and covered the stump of his arm. The red of his eyes then grew bright and light filled the mall, making seeing anything other the blood red impossible. When the light died down, the mall was no longer the graffiti covered mess it was before. Everything was covered in blood, not normal blood, rather blood that was made by the spell, there by useless to anyone but Aaron.

But the real wonder was in the center of the mall; a clould made pure blood. It would be impossible to miss it, its base was at the floor and it went all the way to the roof. It seemed to crackle with red lighting. It was an awe inspiring sight, and Aaron wished he could take credit for thinking of this spell. But this spell was made by many, and only tested once, in a lab. This was very diffrent, and very risky.

"Your not the only mage here old friend" mummered Aaron, his voice weak, but stronger then one would expect from someone who just had an arm tore off.

With that a bolt of red lighting sprung from the cloud and made for Gaston.

Aaron thought the spell was working perfectly, but if he looked closely at the cloud, he would see it was much clearer then it was meant to be, as well as sending off far to many sparks.
