Bond came out from behind the bush. He slowly walked over to where Hicks was. He looked at him and asked, "Are you going to be okay?" Bond then took a seat next to Hicks.

Bond looked over at Hicks again. Tears were begining to form in Bond's eyes. He looked like he was about to cry. Bond's right hand was holding something. He wanted to give it to Hicks. "Hicks?" Bond asked, "I have something for you, but..." Bond's voice trailed off. Tears were begining to roll down his cheeks.

Bond looked at Hicks. "Sir. I am going to ask this of you once. Please tell me the truth. I want to know if you will be okay." Bond looked back at his hand and opened it to reveal a silver ring. He looked at Hicks and said, "Sir. This is what I wanted to give to you. I got it from a friend who is a priest. He blessed it, so that the wearer would not only live longer, but would find true love someday. I want you to have it, sir."

Bond held out the ring to Hicks. He hoped that Hicks would accept the ring. He didn't want to have to wear it himself because he already had a gold ring that did the same thing and more.

Jet just sat down when he noticed that Hicks was gone. He hated to see friends and people he loved in so much pain. He could kill people that he didn't know and people that he did know if he had to because of an "inner anger", or atleast that's what Jet's sensei had told him. No one knew that Jet had ever been to ninja school, but he had, and graduated top of his class. It was all part of his training to kill two people. General Konshi and another man by the name of Aaron Hudek. General Konshi had recieved orders from Hudek to have one of their spies (Marie Smith. I've said who she was in another post in the Bunk/Gym a while ago incase your wondering.) to kill Jet. Their plan however failed horriably with Jet killing Marie and severly wounding the General. Now Jet had only two missions left in life: One to kill General Konshi, and another to kill Aaron Hudek.

Hicks had spent the last few hours of the day recovering. Of course "recovery" had a different meaning for Hicks then it did with most people. Usually when a person gets sick they take some medicine and lay in bed all day while sipping soup. Well Hicks had always worked through his illness by training and sweating it off. He was doing the same kind of thing now.

Granted his training regiment today was pitiful compared to...well...anything. But considering his state he did pretty well. He hadn't died anyway and that was enough for him to be happy about.

He decided to enter the base for the first time since he left last night. He went in through the back door and passed the medical quarters as he walked. One of the doctors stormed out of the med bay and chased him down.

"What the hell do you think you are doing? Don't you know--" the man froze when he saw Hicks's expression.

Hicks walked clumsily over to him and got close enough to him that he could have counted the freckles on his nose. He raised a hand and the doctor recoiled but then Hicks took the cigarrettes out of the doctors pocket. He removed one and lit it and then put the package back.

He took a long drag on the cigarrette and exhaled the smoke. He then walked away and went to his quarters. The doctor made a half chuckle noise as he walked "...hellova guy." the doctor said and then he turned around and went back into the med bay.

Jet finally emerged from the operation room. The doctors had to stich up Jet's arm where he was stabbed. Jet rubbed the bandage that protected the stiches and walked off.

Bunny looked at Jet expectantly. "Well? You going to be ok?" She asked, trying to hide her concern.

green]Leora waited, but Jet did not go on. Leora leaned in and shouted. "What? What's it called? Come on Jet, we need to know what it's called!" Leora waved her hand in front of his face, nothing still. "Jet?!"
