I'm in the Sea Cadets, only because we dont have a Air Cadets here.... Otherwise I'd so be in with that.. But my squad is UBERLY fun! We have drill weekend once a month, along with other fun things, like we get to go to Canada in May and I get to miss a day or two of school! Thank god! and I get to go Camping this month! YAY!

LAY CADENCE, LAY CADENCE, LAY CADENCE COUNT! ONE! CAN'T HEAR YOU! TWO! LITTLE LOUDER! THREE! LITTLE STRONGER! FOUR! MUCH PROUDER! ONE! WHAT? TWO! WHAT? THREE! WHAT? ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS! OORAH!
Oh and for all you Army trash, Army is really an acronym for "Aren't Really Marines Yet." I have a good story for you guys- God saw two Marines in a boat singing "From the Halls of Montezuma, To the Shores of Tripoli..." and decided to take out a quarter of their brain. So then the Marines went "From the Halls, To the Shores...", so God decides to take out another quarter. Now the sing "From, To...". He finally decides to take their entire brains out and the Marines begin to sing, "Be all that you can be, in the Army!"
Don't think I'll leave my favorite sister service out. This one's for the Navy- A Sailor sees a little boy playing with some icky stuff and asks him what he's doing. The boy replies, "I'm making a Marine." So the Sailor asks what the boy is making the Marine out of and the boy replies, "Mud and chicken s**t." So the sailor falls over laughing. A Marine walks by and sees the Sailor. The Sailor tells the Marine to ask the boy what he is doing. A little hesitant, the Marine asks the boy what he's doing. The boy replies "I'm making a Marine." Now the Sailor tells the Marine to ask the boy what he's making the Marine out of. The boy replies "Mud and chicken s**t." The Marine then asks why the boy isn't making a Sailor and he replies, "Because I don't have enough chicken s**t."
I would make an Air Force joke, but you flyboys are so jacked-up I don't even know where to begin. sweatdrop
By the way, I'm not saying any of that stuff to be mean to you guys, just saying it to get a little friendly military competition going. I love all branches of the military and actually plan on going into the Navy as a flight nurse. I'd never put someone down just because of their preferred branch of service. I'd just aggravate them over it. blaugh

If I didn't know any better, I'd be offended by some of the things said here - being an airman and all.
And I think my job does qualify as something in the Air Force that actually DOES produce "work". As an EOD guy, we're not a bunch of lazy chairborne rangers, lol.

"real" army man feels riding through the streets of baghdad knowing that we're not there anymore, won't we?
