Koemiko Satan must work the food chain... That's why there's an "M" there, for "Masochist," and it also resmbles the twin horns on his head. Who thinks my theory is correct? xd eek You've cracked the code!

eek That is absolute crap. At the same time, I'm annoyed when people state, "McDonald's food is proven to make people fat." Excuse me? Duh! Obviously greasy food like french fries and hamburgers are going to make you fat. Was there any surprise there? When people found that out, did they honestly gasp and say, "Really???" Then again, really any food could make you fat. I could live off of stale crackers and still manage to gain weight if I ate enough. I could get fatter than I am now if I ate three wheelbarrows of carrots a day. I think that the only food that won't make you fat is... no food at all. >_<

It takes more calories to eat it than it gives, or something like that. But then again, who eats plain celery?

Its all nice and slim, and when people chew on it it sounds so crunchy and good tasting. ..LIES! It tastes like [insert everything bad tasting here]! *cough* ...Im done.

I read about some early version of the Atkins diet (this was before it was popular, and may not have been it at all, but it was basically a meat-only diet >_<), and it only had two stipulations for things you could not eat: potatoes, and celery. Potatoes I understand because of all the carbohydrates, but celery...? That baffled me beyond belief. I drink grapefruit juice a lot because it burns fat. I'm going grocery shopping tonight and buying myself three or four cartons, and when I walk home with 30 pounds of juice on my back (I carry groceries in my backpack), I'll probably have a back-ache for days. It figures that the area of town with the A&P is the only place in all of London where buses don't go. xp

sickntwistiid Kirjava I drink grapefruit juice a lot because it burns fat. It does? eek Indeed! ^_^ Unsweeted grapefruit juice does, anyway. I starting drinking it because I learned that it burned fat, and at first it tasted so disgusting to me that I wasn't at all surprised that it was healthy. I slowly got used to it, though, and now it's my favourite drink of all time.

I should get a hold of the juice... whee

For one entire summer I had no breakfast, half a grapefruit for lunch, and a small salad for supper, with grapefruit juice twice a day as my snack. >_< I lost weight, but it wasn't very satisfying. I probably would have lost more weight if I hadn't had so much feta in my salad. But I couldn't help it. Mmmmm, feta!

I mean, if you just all of the sudden stop eating "regular" food, your body might find that odd and start.. Not working. Or something. xd That Atkins diet, is that tormenting Canada too? When I was in the states, that was all they atlked about. All the ads on the Tv; "Less than x% fat!", "half the amount of calories!", "You will become skinny as a twig if you eat our product!!!" etc. Silly! gonk

sickntwistiid You should be careful with those diets.. I mean, if you just all of the sudden stop eating "regular" food, your body might find that odd and start.. Not working. Or something. xd I realize now that it wasn't the best way to go, but I was fairly careful in that I made sure I had meat from time to time and that I had some form of dairy aside from feta cheese occasionally. With all the grapefruit I was eating and drinking I definitely didn't have to worry about scurvy, though. xd Quote: That Atkins diet, is that tormenting Canada too? All the ads on the Tv; "Less than x% fat!", "half the amount of calories!", "You will become skinny as a twig if you eat our product!!!" etc. Silly! gonk It's tormenting North America like you wouldn't believe! We now have Atkins diet-friendly beer, for crying out loud! Every other commercial for food is advertising the Atkins diet, and instead of saying, "Our pizza only has five grams of fat per slice," the big thing now is saying, "Our pizza only has three grams of carbs per slice." It's kind of annoying to see a person load up their plate with big fatty pieces of steak, and when you offer them a slice of bread they hiss and say, "I can't eat that! It has carbs in it!" For years now, North America has become obsessed with weight and weightloss. I know that obesity is a real problem, but too much dieting and too much skinniness can be just as unhealthy, if not moreso. I've heard of people who died while on the Atkins diet, because their bodies weren't getting what they needed, and they were clogging their arteries with so much meat. I love meat as much as the next person, but the thought of eating five porkchops instead of a damn salad just strikes me as silly.

Kirjava It's tormenting North America like you wouldn't believe! We now have Atkins diet-friendly beer, for crying out loud! Yeah I saw that! Though it wasnt beer, it was that Smirnoff thing. stressed Quote: For years now, North America has become obsessed with weight and weightloss. While watching ads on the TV, I noticed that some of the had teeny tiny little warnings down in either left or right corner, informing us that the Atkins approved product could cause headaches and upset stomachs, diarrhea and whatever. Its not healthy! gonk One needs calories and all the other necessary stuff bread products give. [and fruits] Some might say "Oh well I can take those vitamin pills ^__^", but that aint healthy either. If theyre soo keen on losing weigth they should start working out, instead of sitting on their asses all day thinking thell become thin by gnawing on a piece of fat steak.
