It's only $26. It would cost more if I bought them seperately. And I really want to see this series in better quality. And I've been wanting to buy Cardcaptor Sakura again ever since they reprinted the first half. And then there's Haruhi Suzumiya. I'm hoping to get volume one which is coming out in May. I already have all of FMA. My aunt gave my sisters and I the entire flippin series. But it's bootleg.

BLACKis a pigment....
I thought it was 5o bucks.... I really want to buy the Clover anime, very badly, actually. And you said you were looking for a new series, yes? Try Kino's journey.

Elfen Lied thinpack here.I've heard of Kino's Journey. I just never got around to watching it. Now has anyone here seen Gintama? And is the Angel Sanctuary OVA worth watching? Or am I better off just sticking to the manga like everything else. Hmm, I should finish Azumanga Daioh while I'm at it.

WHY ARE YOU ALL BASHING THE MANGA SUDDENLY!!! scream
I check this subforum every day and am always hanging around the FMA Manga Thread. I know some fans of assholes; almost every fandom has assholes. Can't we all accept that and move on with life, discussing the finer points of FMA with the good fans. Sheesh. gonk
I think having Selim as Pride was amazingly awesome! You know why? Because, like, no one suspected him! It was all like: "Aw! What a cute kid!" and now it's all like: EVIL!!! eek Also, Selim is a character that no one really feels too strongly about, thus, keeping him somewhere in the back of our minds until "BAM!". We find out he's a homunculus. I freaking love surprises. Having good plot twists is, truly, a sign of masterpiece in my opinion.

I have so much respect for Arakawa-sensei. She's suck a master at what she does! I didn't suspect a thing where Pride was involved.

But I like it better that way. I feel that Selim's character had more potential in the anime but they let it go to waste.
@Letishia: Yup I so agree. Arakawa is definely one of the masters in this genre. That's why she's one of my favorite manga artists right there with CLAMP.

Did I say I was bashing the manga?
No, I am not bashing the manga.
I'm just stating an opinion. Geeze.
See? THIS is what I'm talking about...people flipping out because I dislike the oh-so holy FMA manga. Really, people. I have a right to dislike it. Yee. I just read it so I can keep up with what people are talking about.

Sounded like bashing to me.
If it was a major character, it wouldn't have been much of a surprise. This is reminding me of Harry Potter where minor chracters are starting to come out into the open and surprise everyone.
It's all about the element of surprise. Don't you like surprises?

Sorry. Hoho-MOMO. sweatdrop You have every right to voice your opinion. But I don't think Letishia was talking about you and Ling. I think she meant the rude ignorant fans you see in the A/M/C.

Actually, no, I'm not much of a surprise person. sweatdrop
Well, I still think Kimbley or Hohenheim could have been better canidates, really.
Gah, why do I even bother? @_@

That's what fanfiction is for. Hooray for writing who you think should be Pride or what should have happened! XD
I still think it's great surprise.

Yeah, but then I'd get bashed by elitists saying "That would have never worked out, stop trying to change the story blah blah blah".
I'll admit it was shocking...though I'm sitll not convinced he's the TRUE Pride. I stick by my theory that Pride has no true physical form and must possess others in order to live. I mean, didn't you see /his/ eyes? They had that traditional anime souless look. I know the homunculi have no true souls [so it seems]...but really. They don't run around looking like THAT.
Now I'm gonna go hide in the Xenosaga fandom. ._. I don't want my face ripped off. *flee*

It would have been cool if it was Hohenheim, but I think that if it were Kimblee it wouldn't have been much of a shock since he's already an established "bad guy". Hoho too, wouldn't have been as shocking, and he probably has another role too play.
@ Hoho - Sorry if I freaked out... I was referring to various people. A lot of idiots preaching to me about how the anime is so much better and the manga "sux" in noob talk is driving me insane. I realize you like the anime better, but when you started talking about almost hating the manga, you came of as kind of rude and demeaning to all manga fans. Maybe it was just the way I interpreted it.
Also, Ling, your cynicism about the manga has been driving me slightly insane lately. Cynicism of any sort always drives me crazy.
